Sweet Gingerbread

Hello friends!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
I have a quick post today sharing a card that I created before Christmas.  I used the Hey, Sugar! set from Whimsy Stamps.  I colored this cutie with Copic and used the coordinating die.  I created a shaker card using Crafty Foam Tape, acetate, and the Sparkle Gems.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful NEW YEAR!!

Snowy Scene

Were you part of the blizzard?
Chicago didn't get as much snow as predicted, but the cold and wind are no joke!
I love this scene from Whimsy Stamps.  It is called Blissful Winter.  I stamped it with Versamark and embossed it in black.  I added a bit of color to the lamp posts with a Copic.  I also added texture paste to the edges and the lamp posts.  I kept the layout simple by adding a gingham bow and hot pink jingle bells.  :)
I gotta get back to the kitchen to finish my cooking for Christmas Eve!
I am hoping to post one more card, but just in case, have a very Merry Christmas!

Are You a Cat Person?

Good morning!
I have two cards today using Whimsy Stamp's Cat Do Christmas set. These naughty cats are adorable! (Coming from a "noncat" person! LOL)
I kept the layouts fairly simple to keep the focus on the image.  I used Copics and cut out the image with the Rounded Rectangles die.   I love the striped paper in the background! This is from the 6 x6 Mix n Match Neutral Pack.
For my second card, I again colored the image with Copics. The background was embossed using the Holly Embossing Folder.    A couple of jingle bells were added for a festive touch.  :)
Thank you for stopping by!
If you are a prayerful person, please add me to your list.  I would really appreciate it. :)

Bold Congratulations

Happy Saturday friends!
Just a quick post today.
I have been dealing with a few health issues and my time has been focused outside of crafting for the time being.  So please be patient.
I have all Whimsy Products today from their December release.  Links below. :)
The background was water colored and lots of different dies used to put my card together.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release! Artic Friends!

Hello friends!

Happy weekend to you!  Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release! I used the new Arctic Friends stamp set.  This little penguin is so dang cute. I stamped him 3 times and colored them with Copics.  I used the snowflake stamp to give the background a bit of interest.  I cut the image out using the Antique Frames Die set.

The background paper is part of the Mix n Match paper pack.  I love the purples and blues together! I added a frosty looking ribbon and some Stickles for the snow.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! I am heading downtown Chicago to bring on my holiday cheer at the KrisKringle Market and some dinner!
Be sure to check out Whimsy's full release!

Hey, Party Animal!

Happy Sunday to you!
I have a fun birthday card to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new Jungle Birthday set.  I colored these cuties with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.  I added a pom pom to the elephant's party hat.  I used the new Slim Swiss Dots Die for the fun background! Kind of makes it feel like a party! :) Some of the circles were colored with Copics for a bit more of a festive feel.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends!
It's been awhile since my last post.  I was struck down with the flu that lasted for about 14 days.  I was so sick and literally couldn't get out of bed.  I am finally on the mend and hoping to be back to my normal self very soon.
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release and this new set called, Llamazing Llamas, is adorable! I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut it.  I used the new Antique Frames to "frame" him out! ;)  I wanted the colors of the frame to match perfectly, so I used the same Copic colors on the frame.
I adhered the frames to my black card and stamped the sentiment directly onto the frames.  I popped up my llama with Crafty Foam Tape.  I tied twine, added a button, and a few clear droplets to finish off the card.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Be sure to pop over to Whimsy Stamps to see their full release!

Happy Birthday Princess!

Hello friends and Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
I have a card today that showcases Whimsy Stamp's new Bling Queen.  I stamped it a no line ink and colored it with Copics.  I fussy cut it out. The background was vintage music paper that I gave a wash of Gesso to. The edges were dipped in Versamark Ink and embossed in gold. I sprayed some Distress ink sprays in Kitch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. Once the panel was dry, I used the new Stardust Swirl Die.  Gold glittery paper was adhered under it to give it a bit of extra glam. I cut an extra frame from the gold paper using the Mitered Frames.  I wanted to be sure to "ground" the dress.
What I love about this dress set is the second layer you can add to the skirt.  I wanted the texture to be subtle, and hopefully you can see it.  I stamped it in Versamark and embossed it in clear embossing powder.   I added flowers and leaves to the dress using the Grass Frames Die set.

Thank you for stopping by today!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving my American Friends!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release! (And a little wedding too!)

Good morning friends!
I have been down with the flu since Thursday and can't seem to shake it.  My entire weekend got sidelined.  It is so bad, I don't even have the energy to craft! (Yikes!)
Fortunately, I made this card before getting sick.
It uses Whimsy's new set called, Moose You, by Dustin Pike. Such a cute whimsical set!
I colored the in using Copics and colored the entire sky behind them black.  I added puffy paint to the ground and heat it up.  The heart was part of the Puppy Paws Die Set. I cut it out of red paper and added Glossy Accents to it. The patterned paper behind it is part of the Christmas Eve 6 x 6 Paper Pack.
To see the full release, be sure to head on over to Whimsy Stamps!
Before you head on over, I do have some wedding pictures of my son and his bride below.  Oh! and a few of my sweet Cort.

My son before the ceremony...

The big reveal! (How things have changed since I got married! LOL!)

I love that Cortney was included and loved throughout the entire wedding.

Mr. & Mrs. Kovack!

The two sister-in-laws. <3

So beautiful.....

Just married!

There are so many more pictures, but this was a little snapshot of their big day!
Thank you for letting me share!
