A Silly Smile!

Happy Friday to you! Today is my last day of school! YAY! Unfortunately, yesterday, I had the flu or something. Ick. Trying to pack up a room and finish report cards was no fun when you are achy and ready to pray to the porcelain gods. This morning I am feeling a bit better.....I hope I am on the upswing!

I have a silly LO to share with you today of my cutie pie niece, Katie. I took these pics at my Gram's 90th birthday party last weekend. Katie is a total ham in front of the camera, so I got a bazillion pictures of her posing, pointing to various body parts, or just simply making silly faces at me! : ) I used Noel's newest kit, Sun-Kissed. (Sold out)

I did lots of spritzing her and added journaling lines with my sewing machine.

The butterflies were cut out of ordinary white tissue paper with a Spellbinder's die, and then misted with Glimmer Mist and paint.
I am in love with tissue paper right now! (And butterflies....... : )

Thanks so much for stopping by today! It always means a lot to me! I look forward to our "visits!" : )
Have a great weekend!!!!!

Graduation Pics!

Good morning! If you are here to see something crafty, I got nothin' for ya today! Nada, zip! LOL! Only some pics of my newest middle school graduate! I had to share my excitement.....her excitement with you. She beamed all night long. I beamed all night long. I am thrilled to have gotten these pics of my beautiful girl!
.............she takes my breath away.
Getting pictures of Cortney is difficult. Very difficult. I know it may not seem like it since I post many here.....but it is. Her head is heavy. She drools. She has nystagmus which makes her eyes bounce around a lot. She loves showing her tonsils on a regular basis. So when I snap a photo like this. Wow. What I see everyday, her blue eyes, her flawless skin, her gorgeous face, I am able to show the world, and you can see what I see.

I also have to mention that her 13 year old brother was perfect on graduation night. He presented her flowers to her after she received her diploma. He posed for pics all night without grumbling. And again.........a perfect picture of my two children. (Makes my heart go pitter patter!!!!)

This is what has kept me from crafting lately. This group right here. My family. I love them to pieces......I am blessed beyond measure. This is what it's all about. Right here.

My Aunt Pat took this photo of my two with her camera phone. I love the joy on their faces!

And this last photo, is Cort and her teacher, Miss Amber. Cortney adores her! And lucky for us, I think the adoration is mutual!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me share my family with you once again!
I will have more craftiness to share soon! Have a wonderful Thursday!!!

New Crafty Secret's Set!

Good morning and happy Wednesday to you! We had Cort's graduation last night, and she was such a happy, happy girl. She knew that it was her special day.....the smile never left her face! I got so many beautiful pictures of her, and as soon as I get them loaded, I will share a few with you!

Today I have a Crafty Secret's card to share with you. It uses the new set called, Bonjour Merci. I colored her in with Copic Markers. I cut the image out with a scalloped Nestibility and inked the edges. The paper is by October AFternoon, Thrift Shop collection.

I added some buttons with pearls n the centers, ribbon, and a sentiment.

I appreciate you stopping by! I know how crazy this time of year is and how valuable your time is! So thank you!!!!

Happy Birthday!

Are you absolutely sick of seeing butterflies on my cards and scrap pages yet? I can't seem to get enough of them lately! I may need to go to "Butterfly Rehab" soon if I don't stop! LOL! I used Noel Mignon's Lemonade Stand kit (sold out!) to create this card. The top lacy piece was stamped with the Prima stamp that comes in the kit. It was stamped 3 times in Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores, and Old Olive. (Papertrey Ink colors) I cut them out and popped them up on pop dots. I did a bit of machine stitching and Cuttlebugged the center panel. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink, butterfly cut with Spellbinder's die. The orange button is by Jenni Bowlin.

Don't forget to grab your new Noel Mignon kit........Sun-Kissed! It just went up for sale and there are only 4 left!

It is my official last week of school! Yesterday was our field day and we had a perfectly sunny day for it! The kids had water races, a doughnut eating contest, sack races, tug of war, and a dunk tank.

Tonight is Cort's graduation........can't believe it. How did my baby get so old? So quick?********sigh**************

New Challenge Over at Noel Mignon!

The new challenge over at Noel Mignon's Challenge Blog is called "Double Trouble." We were to only use one sheet of double sided designer paper. I used a piece of DP by MME. The rest is cardstock. (Which is legal! LOL) I used pictures from Brian and my anniversary dinner. My journaling included a tidbit about the bill. When Brian went to pay it, the waitress came back immediately and stuck a piece of paper in it. When we opened it up, we discovered that the bill had been paid for by his boss! It was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for us! So unexpected and surprising!

I used Noel's Lemonade Stand kit..... : )

......and a few odds and ends from my stash!

Check out the rest of the DT's fabulous pages HERE! Hope you can play along with us!

Gotta run! Getting my nails and toes done tonight! Tomorrow is Cort's 8th grade graduation! : )
