Special Whimsy Release!

Good morning friends!
Hope you are all staying busy and healthy.
I am excited to share with you a special release from Whimsy Stamps.  So many fun products that I will be sharing over the next few days.
There is nothing I love more than flowers....especially flower dies! I used the new Poppy Flower Die set and my Karin Brushmarkers.
I also used the Hexagon Treat Box Die to place my floral arrangement on.  Lots of Crafty Foam tape used for dimension, along with silk ribbon, gold cording, and Chunky glass glitter.
I will be sharing new projects over the next couple of days showcasing the new products for this special release! :)

Love & Miss You

Good morning!
How are all of you doing? Keeping busy I hope.
I have been trying to stay away from the news as much as possible because I become a wreck when I hear the updates.  Cortney has been FaceTiming me each night, and so far she is healthy. But it's hard knowing she is an hour away from me.
I've been crafting. I created this card using Whimsy Stamp's Layered Dahlia.  I used a no line water color technique and Karin Brushmarker Pro.
I fussy cut the flowers and leaves and set them aside. I used the Rounded Rectangles Die set.  I left the die on and sponged a bit of pink ink to give it a bit of warmth.  I also used the Connected Oval Frame Die and kraft card stock.
I added a few hearts from the  Primitive Shaker Shapes dies.  I covered the hearts with glossy accents and Glamour Dust glitter.    I used the sentiments from the Beaver Birthday Clear Stamp set.   The ampersand is from the Bold ABC Die set. I gave that a hefty coating of glossy accents as well.  I layered everything and used a ton of Crafty Foam Tape for dimension.

Prayers for all of you.
Please stay healthy!! HUGS!!

Birthday Cows

Good morning friends! I apologize for my absence, but I have to admit that this whole Coronavirus thing has me a bit on edge. My school is closed for the next couple of weeks at least. My entire family is working remotely from home, and Cortney can't come home. Trying to live a somewhat "normal" life has been a challenge.  Posting about cards and such feels strange knowing that all of this is going on.  But then I realized that this hobby has always been a sweet distraction for me.  For us.  We can forget the world for a little while.  So here is my distraction for you today. Cow Party by Whimsy Stamps
I colored these adorable cows with Karin Brushmarkers.  I used the Peekaboo Window Die and stamped it with the Criss Cross Gingham Background stamp.  I used orange and pink inks for a colorful background.  I added the teeny hearts from the Sprinkletz Sweethearts.  I also added pom poms to their party hats for a fun touch!
Since I am working from home over the next couple of weeks, I should have more posts. ;)  To all of my crafty friends, stay healthy and take care of yourselves.
HUGS!
