A Little Valentine Treat!

Hello friends!
I have a fun Valentine project to share with you today using some fun new Whimsy products!
I used the new Marshmallow Wishes Stamp set and the Slimline Scalloped Edge Pocket Die.  The images were colored with Copics.
I used the pocket die with the 6 x 6 Baby Bear Paper Pack.  I punched a hole in the pocket front, where the image is, for the ribbon to go through.  I popped that piece up using the Shaker Maker Foam Tape
I added little hearts from the Sprinkletz Candy Hearts collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Be sure to pop by Whimsy Stamps to see the new release!
Have a great Friday!

Whimsy's New Release!!

It's February 10th Y'all! You know what that means don't you?  Whimsy Stamp's new release!! I adore this new set, Polka Dot Pals Nour.  I did a bit of masking to create my scene and to create my cloudy sky in the background.  I used Karin Brushmarkers to water color the image.  I stamped the sentiment vertically in Versafine Black ink.
I wanted to keep the focus on the main image, but couldn't resist adding a bit of twine with these boots I had in my stash.  Which by the way, have probably been in my stash for 20 years! Seriously folks!
I added a few Sparkletz Patriotic stars to the background and called this card finished.

Be sure to head on over to Whimsy to check out the full release!
You are going to fall head over heels for all of it!

Love!

Hello!
It has been so cold and snowy here lately.  I'm kind of over it if I'm being honest.  But in spite of my loathing of snow lately, I do still like snowy glittery cards!
This card uses the new stamp set from Whimsy called, Marshmallow Wishes. I did a no line coloring technique with Copics and colored pencils.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark black ink.  I used the Pierced and Stitched Circle Die to cut out the image.  I added some glossy accents and glitter.  I also used the Elegant Snowflakes and Border die to add this snowflake embellishment.
For the background panel in blue I used the Slimline Hearts Background die.  I used it to emboss rather than cut.  I have a tutorial HERE if interested in seeing how I did it.  :) For the pink panel behind I used the Formal Lattice Stencil, texture paste, and glitter.  I layered everything with Shaker Maker Foam Tape.
Have a great day my friends!
