I am Ready for Summer Anytime It Would Like to Show Up!

I don't know how the weather is in your part of the woods, but here in Chicago.....it is very cool and rainy! Yesterday and today, the high was in the low 60's and rain. We have gotten a couple of warm "teaser" days here and there......but that's it! I can not tell you how much I want it to get sunny and HOT! (Remind me of these words around mid August will ya?) I want to sip my lemonade (or other cold beverage ; ) by the pool. I want my windows open and the curtains blowing in the breeze. (Unlike tonight where I am tempted to put my heat on!) I WANT SUMMER!!!!

Nothing says summer like an umbrella drink! : )

Ok Summer, Anytime you Want to Appear.....

I need summer to arrive soon! I am so tired of the cold dreary weather! So this is my card to push summer along......
I colored Riley in with my Copics. I used my Spellbinder's Nestibilities for the circle and scallop. The paper is Papertrey and Doodlebug. I found this fabric in my stash and thought it matched pretty well. I used my Cropidile to punch holes in the flip flop buttons. I attached them to the ribbon. The letters were an old set by SU! called Alphabits. I layered it on a little bit larger circles. I used a sun punch for the back of the s.

I am pretty excited, cuz I got in the Copic class in Chicago. I will be going on July 16th. If you are going, drop me a line and maybe we can meet!
