Birthday Wishes!

Created by Michele Kovack

Good morning!
I am loving on round cards lately!  I found this fun Blossom Cluster cut from the Silhouette store.  I cut it out several times and this card is my first version.  I will show the other two versions later this week.  It's amazing how color choices can change the entire look of the card!
I water colored the flowers and leaves and then gave it a coating of glossy accents.  I popped it up using foam tape.

I added some posies, white satin ribbon, and pearls to the flowers' centers.  The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Birthday Blessing's set.  I love the scripty font! So pretty!  It was stamped and embossed on vellum and then cut out.

I am home today with my girl. We are just a week away from her moving to her new group home.
It is so close now that my heart can't deny her leaving any longer.
The suitcase is out, clothes have been labeled and packed, and some tears have been shed.
Logically, I know this will be the best thing for her.
Emotionally, it is difficult to imagine anyone else taking care of her.
It is hard to hand that kind of responsibility over to anyone that isn't me.
But us moms have to give our children wings.
Let them go.
Let them fly.
My baby leaves the nest in a week.

JustRite's October Release-Pinwheel Daisies

Good morning! Are you bored of me yet? ;) I have another fun JustRite release to share with you today! The set is called Pinwheel Daisies, and yes, it is as fun as its name suggests! I also used a fun die from Tonic Studios called, Delicate Daisy.  I die cut a piece of water color paper and stamped the daisies in Versamark. It was embossed in white.

I added color using my Zig Clean Brush Markers.

I also tied a pretty silk ribbon from the Stamp Simply Store and adhered a few coordinating sequins to finish off the card.
