CHA Sneak Peeks!

Well, I am pooped happily after a day at CHA with Simone and Carol! We were busy picking up new products for the store, Craft Fancy. Such cool things coming out this fall....here is just a small glimpse!

Brand new company called Graphic 45! So very vintage, so very up my alley!!!

Another really cool product! It is called Flower Soft. Don't really know how to describe it so here is a picture.....Aren't those flowers cool? Kind of like flock and glitter, but not quite.....much cooler! I think Simone and I convinced Carol to buy some!

Hero Arts!
Isn't this cake booklet the sweetest?
Ooooohhhhh Prima!!! Love, love, love these new clear albums! Look at all the different shapes!!!

Gotta love Maya ROAD!!!
Here is some sassy Sassafras!!! Love this new line!
I just loved this LO by Sassafras! May have to case this one!

Oooops! More Flower Soft! How did this picture get all the way down here?

Isn't Sizzix's packaging so cute?
Some new Basic Grey!
Some Teresa Collins!
Gotta love Crafty Secrets! (Yes, I did see Lisa Zappa and Sandy Redburn!)
I honestly can't remember who this is by......just thought the little album was adorable!

This is a brad maker! It was pretty cool! I am thinking of putting little pics in there would be way cute!
Some wall decor?!

Hero Arts! So, so cute!
No one does Halloween like Martha Stewart!
I love going to CHA and seeing all of my favorite products and rubbing elbows with the likes of Tim Holtz, Ali Edwards, Heidi Swapp and many wonderful bloggers!!! (I didn't take pics because I feel like the darn paparazzi asking!)
It is late and I am going to bed! HAve a great weekend!

My last few days as Queen of the Crap!

I am ending my reign as Queen of the Crap over at Scrap Your Crap! The last challenge was to use those cool scissors that were so popular 10 years ago! You know you have them.....all the different cuts.....maybe you passed them on to your kiddos thinking you wouldn't use them anymore! Well, I pulled mine out for this challenge and went to town! This is a picture of my cutie pie nephew Alex. All the paper is from Noel Mignon's Picnic Basket Add-on Kit! I even used my dusty 'ole punches!!! So head on over to Scrap Your Crap to see what the other gals have come up with!

Off to CHA!!! Hopefully, will post pics later!!!

Espressly for You!

This was one of those cards that started with no plan at all....just had the paper and stamp out and one thing led to another! The background stamp is by Hampton Arts. The little coffee stamp is by Hero Arts, and the coffee rings are by CHF. I colored two images with Copics. I cut and layered the cups with a pop dot. I wanted the "steam" to adhere directly to the cup (Which is popped out), so I used brown liquid applique directly on a transparency. I did not heat it because I wanted it to look dark and wet. When it was dry I cut around the steam and glued it directly to the cup. I stamped a couple of coffee beans and used crystal effects on them. I then cut those out and adhered everything to the glittered heart by Melissa Frances. The sentiment was cut out using my Nestibilities. I finished it off with some brown, plaid ribbon and cream colored floss.

Well, I went to the Copic class with Simone today. The class was taught by Marianne Walker. (Check out her blog if you are looking for some great tips on using your Copics) This woman is an amazing artist! She draws and colors like nobody's business! I learned some great techniques that I am hoping to play with more soon! I did manage to color a few images today, so I am hoping to make cards out of 'em!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Treehouse Challenge and a Gorgeous RAK!

This week's Brainwave challenge at Treehouse stamps was to use Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, and Bravo Burgandy. I used the little birdie from the Home Grown set. I colored the image in with my Copics and used my airbrush around him. I cut the rectangles out with my Nestibilities. I sewed and happened to have 3 ribbons that matched perfectly! So I had to use all 3! I then added a button and stick pin. The little metal sign was found while cleaning my scrap room. IT is a gazillion years old! I thought it worked well with this card! If you would like to see what the other girls did check out their blogs!

As many of you know, I was Featured Stamper a few weeks ago at SCS. Cindy, AKA: Mothermark, sent me this gorgeous RAK to honor my FS! She told me she made a dress template herself and even wrote the poem for me! Isn't it just gorgeous?! It is going in a small shadow box frame and hanging in my scrap room! I am so touched by her kindness! I think scrappers and stampers are the nicest people on Earth!

Well, I am off to my Copic class today! Hopefully, I will become a bit better at the blending and shading.

**Just a quick question, do people want to see Copic colors when I post a card? I notice lots of bloggers doing it. If it helps, I certainly could do that!

Oh Baby!!!

Noel Mignon's store is carrying this adorable baby cardmaking kit! It is by Basic Grey and it makes 8 cards. Everything you need is in there to make quick easy cards! Since I am embellishment crazy I did jazz some of them up a bit with some ribbon, floss, buttons, and an occasional stick pin!

These 2 cards I did nothing extra. Everything you see on the card, you get in the kit!
This one, I just added a button and floss.
Last but not least is this cute card! I added the button, stick pin and lace at the top!

Happy Tuesday! Only 3 more days to CHA!!

A Good Cause....

Isn't this elephant the cutest? It is part of Sweet n' Sassy's newest release called Elly & Friends. I decided to color the image using my Primas and Gamsol. I used a sketch from SCS, but can't remember what number it was. The paper is SU! and Basic Grey. I stamped my own sentiment with Karen Foster's Snap Stamps, to a jewelry tag. I added the little flower and brad. I wanted to send my son a card. He is a Boy Scout camp. He is gone for a whole week! It is the first time he has gone away without us. So I sent him several cards to let him know that we miss him. (Probably more us than him!). Check out Sweet n' Sassy's blog for all of the new releases! There are tons of them. Korin is also having a fundraiser for her sweet niece, Janessa. She is 19 months old and has Down's Syndrome. She was also diagnosed with MDS (pre-leukemia). For every stamp set sold, Korin will donate 50% to the family. You can read more about it HERE. So if you are interested in any of the Sweet n' Sassy sets, now would be a great time to buy. You will helping a wonderful little girl and her family!
