Another Polychromo card!

Created by Michele Kovack
Good morning! It's been a busy wonderful week having Cortney home.  We had her "pool" party indoors yesterday because of the rainy weather, but the kids (and parents) still had fun!
A few days ago SRM featured this card I had created using Polychromo pencils and an Altnew stamp.I learned from one of my coloring idols, Sandy Allnock, that your pencils need to be super sharp, and you move in small sections at a time.  I really love the look these pencils give.

I added glossy accents to each flower to make the colors really pop.  I used SRM's Thank You by The Dozen sticker for a bold sentiment.  As a final touch I adhered a few sequins and Dew Drops.
No ribbon on this card.......Gasp!

Cort and I are heading to her old school today so I can take pictures.  She is excited to see her former teachers and her friends who haven't graduated yet!
Have a wonderful day!
Thanks so much for stopping in!

Silhouette, Water Colors, Stickers, and ICE CREAM! ;)

Created by Michele Kovack
Good morning!  I am sharing a card that I created for the SRM Blog.  I hadn't used my Silhouette in awhile and decided to dust that baby off and put it to work!  I found this adorable ice cream image. I cut it out of water color paper and gave it some color using my Zig Markers.  I added glossy accents and a bit of glitter.  I used SRM's We've Got Your Border-Bright for the sentiment.

The background was done in various shades of yellow, pink, and orange using my Peerless water colors.  Once it was dry, I splattered it with white and black paint.  I added a few sequins and a few dots here and there using my gel pen.

I am off to take Cort for a much needed haircut and lunch with my mom.
The days of summer are flying by and I really need it to slow down a bit! ;)
Thank you for popping by today!

Celebrate!

Created by Michele Kovack
Good morning!  I am a day late posting this......I was up on the Scrapbook Adhesives blog yesterday with this bright water colored card!  Cortney is home for the week, so I am going to blame her for my tardiness! LOL!
I water colored the background in a variety of bright colors using my Zig Clean Color markers.  Once dry, I splattered it with a bit of black paint.  I added Donna Salazar's E-Z stars and sprinkled them with glitter.  I die cut the two stars.  One out of water color paper and the other using a 3D Foam sheet.  I then sprinkled it with glitter because it is sticky on both sides!

I adhered the stars together and onto the card using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Crafty Foam tape.  (My absolute go to product for every single card I make!)
I wanted to share a bit of San Francisco with you...since I am finally done editing pictures!
Thank you for stopping by!
