Tropical Snowflake Card! (Oxymoron at its Best!)

I am thrilled to be up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today! Why you ask? Because we are having a blog hop with  WOW! Embossing Powders.  Their embossing powders are absolutely stunning!
If you want all of the details on this little tropical number, you will have to head on over to the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog.
Who says wintry snowflake cards have to blue or white? I love breaking the rules once in awhile!
Be sure to stop by the Scrapbook Adhesives blog for your chance to win some fabulous prizes!

And last but not least, I decided after much thinking, to start a FB page for Cortney and her modeling journey.  I would love if you became a fan.  She needs all of the love and support she can get! (And her mama too!)  Click HERE if you would like to become a fan! And thank you in advance if you do! :)

Happy Day!

It is most certainly a happy day! I love getting e-mails telling me that some of my creative projects are getting published!  I received one from Woman's World Magazine about a tutorial I had on my blog recently that they want to publish in their December issue.  I am so honored to be recognized by a magazine that has been around as long as they have! At the end of my post I included two links to two E-books I was published in as well.  The books are free, so be sure to grab a copy!

I have a card today to share that was on the SRM blog a couple of months ago.  So if you missed it over there, you get a second chance here.  ;)
I created the flower with my Spellbinder's Rose die.  I used SRM's punched shapes and added a variety of alcohol ink splotches to create a cool background.
I added a sentiment from SRM's Stickers by the Dozen collection, a few sequins, ribbon, string, and a few leaves I had leftover from a previous project using my Silhouette.

Here are the links to the e-books if you are interested.  Remember they are FREE! ;)

Vintage Crow...

Good morning!  It's the start of a brand new week! (Okay that was me trying to convince myself that I am happy it is Monday.) ;)
I had a little bit of time to create this weekend. I am still in Halloween mode so I created this little number. Not quite your typical Halloween color scheme. ;)
The image is from Crafty Secrets.  It is part of the Halloween Labels set. It was given a bit of color with my Inktense pencils.  The perimeter was given a thick coat of black, sparkly Stickles.  All of the patterned paper is from Crafty Secrets
I added sequins, ribbon, and a glittery black spider.
That's it for me today....gotta run and mold young minds! ;)
Happy Monday!
