Scrapbook page!

This is a cute picture of my niece, Hannah. I made this page to go in her book. I make her an album every year for her birthday! I converted the photo to black and white and layered it over a color photo using Adobe Photoshop. I "erased" the black and white to reveal the pink bunny underneath! I love my Adobe and am starting to get more experimental with it! The Designer paper is by I'm not sure!

The flowers are Prima

The clear stickers are from EK Success

The sticky polka dot ribbon is by I have no idea...was just in my stash! I have a bad habit of taking things out of their packages...then later have no idea who made it!

Have a great weekend!

Thank you card!

I was playing around with this old set from Close to My Heart. I used 2 of the stamps and layered them. The paper is Martha Stewart. I layered and layered my image. I used lots of paper for this card....will probably cost an arm and a let to mail it! I used a cute little oval button in my stash and added some floss. I also added a little pearl to the center of the flower. I like how this card turned out...it is bright and cheery and makes me smile!

On a personal note....I did visit Misericordia. All I can say is that is one phenomenal place. I was truly impressed. It is such a clean and cheery place! They had a pool, art rooms, therapy rooms, large screen TVs, bowling alley.....right up Cortney's alley! It was set up like a college campus. I just pray with all my heart that when the time is right she will be able to go there. There is a waiting list about 600 people long! They only have 560 residents! I will be volunteering a lot there!

Hydrangea

I bought this stamp from Michaels awhile ago and decided it was high time to play with it! IT is by Rubber Stampede. I used my Copics and added tons of glitter to the petals! The light purple paper is by Heidi Grace and has a shimmer to it. The picture doesn't do it justice! The sentiment is from Brenda Walton. I also added glitter to that as well. I did some piercing and added some ribbon from my stash!
I am off to Misericordia in the morning to take a tour of the facility. I am a wreck about it....I dread going but need to start thinking about Cortney's future. The waiting list is many years long and I need to get a foot in the door. It is on the far north side of Chicago.....quite a long ride. These are the times where you can't help thinking how much this all sucks! I am hoping I leave there feeling good about the facility. We shall see....

You Scream for Ice Cream!

This is the next challenge for Bitten by The Bug! We had to use the ice cream cone on the Doodlecharms cartridge. Go visit the site for more inspiration! There are some really great ice cream cone cards! The paper is from Cricut's paper line. I distressed the edges and added glitter to the ice cream! On the second card I also added beads for sprinkles! Can you believe it is the end of July already? Summer is whizzing by too fast!

Winter Card!

Remember when SU! had these cute tag stamps...and you just HAD to buy not one set, but every set they offered? Well....I NEVER seem to use them! I saw this layout in Paper Crafts magazine and thought it was perfect for using the tags! I am not sure who the patterned paper is from. I used some liquid applique for the snow, added a pearl for the o in Joy! The ribbon was in my stash and matched perfectly! I cut the notch out at the top and bottom with my circle punch! I think I am going to make more of these cards....fast and easy! That is up my alley!
