Happy Birthday Princess!

Hello friends and Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
I have a card today that showcases Whimsy Stamp's new Bling Queen.  I stamped it a no line ink and colored it with Copics.  I fussy cut it out. The background was vintage music paper that I gave a wash of Gesso to. The edges were dipped in Versamark Ink and embossed in gold. I sprayed some Distress ink sprays in Kitch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. Once the panel was dry, I used the new Stardust Swirl Die.  Gold glittery paper was adhered under it to give it a bit of extra glam. I cut an extra frame from the gold paper using the Mitered Frames.  I wanted to be sure to "ground" the dress.
What I love about this dress set is the second layer you can add to the skirt.  I wanted the texture to be subtle, and hopefully you can see it.  I stamped it in Versamark and embossed it in clear embossing powder.   I added flowers and leaves to the dress using the Grass Frames Die set.

Thank you for stopping by today!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving my American Friends!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release! (And a little wedding too!)

Good morning friends!
I have been down with the flu since Thursday and can't seem to shake it.  My entire weekend got sidelined.  It is so bad, I don't even have the energy to craft! (Yikes!)
Fortunately, I made this card before getting sick.
It uses Whimsy's new set called, Moose You, by Dustin Pike. Such a cute whimsical set!
I colored the in using Copics and colored the entire sky behind them black.  I added puffy paint to the ground and heat it up.  The heart was part of the Puppy Paws Die Set. I cut it out of red paper and added Glossy Accents to it. The patterned paper behind it is part of the Christmas Eve 6 x 6 Paper Pack.
To see the full release, be sure to head on over to Whimsy Stamps!
Before you head on over, I do have some wedding pictures of my son and his bride below.  Oh! and a few of my sweet Cort.

My son before the ceremony...

The big reveal! (How things have changed since I got married! LOL!)

I love that Cortney was included and loved throughout the entire wedding.

Mr. & Mrs. Kovack!

The two sister-in-laws. <3
