Whimsy Stamp's May Release!

Happy May to you!
Today is not only the day before Cortney's 26th birthday, but it's Whimsy Stamp's new release!
I used the new Gerber Daisy stamp with coordinating die.  I stamped the image on water color paper and went for a no line effect.  After everything was dry, I splattered it with a bit of white acrylic paint.  I used the die and worked on my background.  I embossed a piece of white card stock with the new Slimline Thatched embossing folder.  I adhered the water colored image on top using Crafty Foam tape.
The sentiment is part of the Sympathy So Deeply Sorry stamp set.  I have been needing more of these cards unfortunately. I tied a bit of black string and adhered an acrylic flower I had in my stash.  For a final touch I added a few gold sequins.
Be sure to head on over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release! You are going to LOVE everything!
I am heading to Misericordia with my mom today to visit with Cortney for her birthday! Can't wait to see my sweet girl! :)

Bee Box!

Hello Friends!

I have a little summer box to share today! It uses the Bee-utiful Bees Rubber Cling set.  The bee was colored with Copics and Stickles were added to its wings.  The image was cut out using the Nested Hexagon Die Set. The box was created using the Hexagon Treat Box.  The second Hexagon panel was given a bit of color using the Honeycomb Drips Stencil.

I added a little tag, string, and a few Sparkletz Stars.
Have a great day!!

My Sweet Friend!

Hello!
I hope you all had a great weekend!  It was a busy one for me and so excited that our weather has been getting warmer and lots of sunshine!
I have a new card using a brand new set from Whimsy Stamps called, Fill a Truck.  I love the interchangeable items that go in the flat bed.  I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut them out.  I adhered the beach items with Crafty Foam Tape.
The background was done with water colors and the sun rays stencil.  I wanted it to be bright and happy!  I stamped the sentiment from the Gnome Thinks Spring stamp set in black ink.  I adhered a few hearts from the Sweethearts Sparkletz collection.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
