JustRite's New Release-Signs of Christmas!

It is a rainy gloomy Sunday morning...but all is good in my world!
I like days like this where I don't feel guilty moving a bit slower. Wearing my PJ's a bit longer, and having that 2nd cup of coffee!
JustRite has released some really cool Christmas stamps. Today's set is called, Signs of Christmas.
It includes the old fashioned street lamps with various signs to post.  And the best part is there are, again, coordinating SVG cuts.
I cut out the pieces using my Silhouette and stamped each one.  I used my Copic marker to add the rays of light behind it. I added snow with texture paste and glitter.
I stamped the back panel with the little snowflake and added dots of glitter glue. I added my glittery holly, string, and a scattering of sequins.
Here is the set I used as well as the coordinating SVG file.
Have a great day!!!

JustRite's Stitched Sunflowers!

Good morning!
I'm back with another JustRite release called Stitched Sunflowers!  ( I warned you there were 10 days of releases!)  Fun right? This is another fabulous set if you love to color!  I cut this fun box using my Silhouette. It is a little K-cup coffee carrier. I thought putting the K-cups and a gift certificate to a coffee shop would be a perfect gift for a teacher!
I stamped the bag using a background stamp  that actually won't be released until August.  So think of it as a sneak peek! LOL!
I cut the sunflowers and leaves using my Silhouette and the SVG file that coordinates with the set.   I colored them in using my Spectrum Noir markers.  I layered the flowers using dimensional foam circles. I
I added Flower Soft to the centers of the sunflowers.  I stamped the sentiment and hand cut a banner.  I tucked it under the sunflowers.  I also added ribbon and string to finish it off.
Here is the entire set. :)

I don't always post on the weekends, but this weekend is an exception! Be sure to check back tomorrow for another new release!
Have a great day!

JustRite's New Release-Fall Applique!

I know it is only July, so don't reach out through your computer screen and hit me, but I've got some seasonal stamps to share with you over the next few days.  (Christmas stamps anyone?)  ;)
Today's set is a fun fall set called, Fall Applique. It is a perfect set if you like to color!
I love the different pumpkins in this set.  They are perfect for grouping and layering together.
I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers.
(JG7, DG2, DG3, EB4, EB6, OR1, OR3, TN6, TN9, TN5, Blender)
I love adding special finishing touches to my cards.  So I added twine, ribbon, glitter, rhinestones, and a sentiment to my pumpkins.  I glued some moss I had purchased from Michaels at the bottom for my pumpkins to nestle in.
If you love fall, you have to get this cute set! There are so many fun possibilities with it!!

JustRite's New Release-Just Typed!

Good morning! I am so excited about JustRite's newest releases, Just Typed and Typewriter Sentiments.
There is something about old typewriters that I love.
They're pretty. They're nostalgic.
And my favorite ones are pink.
It brings back memories of my childhood.
Of simpler times.
 Before technology.
My card today was inspired by the vintage Royal typewriters.
In a pretty pink.
Love.
I stamped my typewriter with Versarmark and embossed it with pink Zing on black card stock.  I used an Xacto knife to cut a slot for the paper to feed through.
The sentiment was stamped with Versarmark and embossed in black.  I placed it through the slot I had cut and glued it in place.  I had these daisies in my stash. I think they are by K & Company.  I added some leaves, ribbon, sequins, and my daisies to finish it off.
Here are the two must have sets!

I would also like to take this time to enable you! ;)
JustRite is having a sale on ALL of their dies!!
Be sure to check out how the other gals used these sets!

JustRite's Floral Fan Elements!

Today is day 2 of JustRite's July release! Today's set is all about fans!  I love making shaped cards and what better set than, Floral Fan Elements, to make a fan shaped card! I stamped the image in a rainbow of colors, inked the edges, and gave it a thin coat of glossy accents.  I sprinkled it with a clear coarse glitter from Martha Stewart.
I arranged my fan on folded white cardstock.  I added my tassel, sentiment, twine, and decorative circle thingy to the bottom of the fan.  I used my scalloped scissors to cut around the entire fan.  You will notice in the top left that I didn't cut there.  That is where the fan opens. :)
Here is the entire set. So many pretty options!
I love that it has coordinating dies...makes my life so much easier!
Be sure to see what the other ladies have created with this pretty set!

Have a great day!!

Crafty Secret's Design Team Challenge and Linky Party!

This is my second post today, so if you are here for my JustRite post, please scroll down.  :)
Today is Crafty Secret's Design Team challenge and linky party.
For today's card I've included a step by step tutorial on how it was made.
I used a lovely image from the Mermaid digital stamp set. I colored it using my Spectrum Noir markers.
I used a lot of German Glass Glitter to emulate the sand.
I added seashells, waves, sequins, and ribbon to finish off the card.
So here is the skinny on how the card was created!
I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers. I took my sponge and bit of brown Memento ink to distress the edges a bit.
I used glossy accents to adhere clear and gold German Glass Glitter to the edges of the stamped image.
I cut the blue and tan papers into waves using an Xacto knife.
I layered the pieces on kraft cardstock after inking each one with brown Memento ink.
I added clear coarse glitter to the blue water, just on the edges for a bit of sparkle. I cut a slightly larger rectangle to matte my image on, but first added more gold German glass glitter to the edges.
I stamped the seashells, gave them a bit of color with my Spectrum Noir markers, coated them with glossy accents, and sprinkled more of the clear coarse glitter on top of it. Once it was dry, I added a bit of gold glitter just to the edges using Queen Anne's Twinkle Glitter Glaze.
And because I didn't have enough glitter, LOL!, I added more to the card I was going to adhere everything to. I attached my image to the sand and waves, and added some gold ribbon vertically.
For my finishing touches, I added a few sequins, and another layer of ribbon.

JustRite's July Release-Birthday Floral Vintage Labels Eight and Nine!

Good morning my fellow crafty friends!
It is the start of a new month (well almost) and that means it is time for JustRite's newest releases! And let me tell ya, there are a lot of them!  (10 days of them to be exact!) And each one is beautiful and unique!
I love flowers and I can't get enough of them. So today's set called, Birthday Floral is right up my alley.
Unfortunately in real life, I am soooo not a green thumb. And I don't know the names of most flowers. Like the one I used here..... ;)  (So if you ARE a green thumb, please tell me what kind of flower this is in the comments!)
I stamped the flower 3 times in Versamark and embossed it in gold.  I did a bit of fussy cutting and layered it using dimensional foam circles.  The flower was given a bit of color with my Inktense pencils. The frame was done the same way and cut out using a Spellbinder's label's Eight die.  I gave a bit of texture to the background with a Spellbinder's Vintage Label's Eight die.  I added seam binding, sequins, and a bit of gold cording.
Here is the set in its entirety. So pretty!
There are coordinating SVG cuts too!

The other DT ladies have beautiful projects to share with you, so be sure to pay them a visit!
Have a great day!!!
