Vintage Joy!

Hello!

I have a quick post today sharing a card I created using new papers and dies from Whimsy Stamps.  I used the Joy Word Die with red card stock and stamped it with small snowflakes. I added some texture paste and glitter to give it a snowy look.  The papers are from the new 6 x 6 Chilling Christmas paper pack.   I used the larger holly leaves from the Holly Frame Die to frame my word. They were water colored and I added some glass glitter to their edges.

Christmas in July!

Hello friends!

Hubby and I just got back from a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine, & Boston, Massachusetts.  Such a fun trip, although a bit hot! 

Hard to believe that Christmas is around the corner, and what better way to get a jump start than with Whimsy Stamp's new Christmas in the Woods stamps. These darling critters are so much fun to color! I used Copics to color him in.  I used liquid applique for his hat, sprinkled glitter on it, and when it was dry I used my heat embosser to make it puffy. 

The paper in the background is part of the new 6 x 6 papers called, Chilling Christmas.  (It has a Nightmare Before Christmas vibe). The Holly Frame was used for the base of the card. I added a bit of string, some posies, and some green holly.

Hello!

I have another card using the new Quick Card Fronts, Matchbox Mice.  I am not usually a fan of these critters in real life, but here, they are so sweet! I used some texture paste on the edges to give it a snowy effect.  I used the holly and the frame from the Holly Frame Die set.  Some ribbon and string finished off the card.

Christmas in July!

Hello friends!  It is hard to believe that this week is 4th of July already! Summer needs to slow down a bit! Because before you know it, it WILL be Christmas! So here's to Christmas in July. ;)

You already know how much I adore these Quick Card Fronts by Whimsy Stamps, and this one, Matchbox Mice, is no exception. These sweet little faces....

I cut the panel into three pieces, distressed them with ink and scissors.  Added a strip of red cardstock and placed the image on top.  I did some sewing, added white paint splatters, and used the holly leaves from the Holly Frame Die set.   I tied a little red jingle bell with a metal holly leaf to finish off the card.

Get Well Soon!

Happy weekend friends!  I have two cards to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new Quick Card Fronts-Take Care Bear. The images are so sweet!  I added some glittery Stickles to the centers of the flowers and used the new Get Well Soon Die set.  I popped the letters up with Crafty Foam Tape and added Stickles to the letters.  I tied some pastel string to the top as a finishing touch.

Vintage Bears

Hello!

I have two vintage inspired cards to share today using Whimsy Stamp's null new,  Quick Card Fronts-Take Care Bear.  As expected, these images are so sweet and vibrant! I distressed the edges with scissors and a sanding block.  I splattered a bit of black ink and used my trusty sewing machine to do some random, circular stitching.  I wanted the images to stay soft, so the paper behind it was done in soft watercolors.  I added ribbon, and flowers from my stash to finish off the cards.

Country Cow With Attitude!

Hello!

I have a card using Whimsy Stamp's Southern Sugar Clear Stamp set.  This cow cracks me up! She was given touches of color with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I popped her up on an image from the  6 x 6 paper pack-Country Farm.  I added a bit of rustic twine, and stamped the sentiment directly to the paper in black ink.  

And one last thing....I got to see my granddaughter last weekend for a few days.  I am seriously in awe of her.  She is absolutely perfection.  Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by! 

 

Vintage Charm

Hello!

I have a new card to share that incorporates some vintage vibes.  It uses Whimsy Stamp's new Country Charm 6 x 6 papers.  I used scissors to tatter all of the edges, did some machine stitching, and added crackle paste to the edges.  I stamped a sentiment from the Southern Sugar stamp set.  I added some lace to peek out from under the paper and tied a bit of raffia with twine and lace.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Good morning!

I have my kids home from Georgia, as well as my new granddaughter! I have been fairly preoccupied getting baby snuggles! But I had a free moment to post this new card sharing some brand new products from Whimsy Stamps!Whimsy Stamps! The stamps are part of the Random Funny Swear Words Random Funny Swear Words and the die cuts are from the Comic Speech Bubble set. Comic Speech Bubble set.  It was such a fun card to create, and have a couple of people in mind this would be perfect for! LOL

Masculine Cards!

Hello and happy weekend to you!

I have a difficult time creating masculine cards, but these new Quick Card Fronts by Whimsy Stamps, make it so much easier! This set is called, Classic Cars.  I created some interest by using the new Retro Mod Die Set.  I distressed the edges and added a bit of crackle paste to the edges for a bit of added grunge.  I bit of twine and a sentiment was all this card needed to be complete!

Quick Front Birthday Cards!

Hello!

I have two cards to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new Creative Cupcake Card Fronts.  I know I've said this before, but the images on these are so gorgeous!  The colors....YUM! I created a frame around them using the Spring Ovals die.  The sentiment is part of the Birthday Wishes Word Die. 

I added some pearls and a coordinating satin ribbon.  

I really do love how quick and effortless it is to make a beautiful card!

Cupcakes!

Happy weekend friends! 

I have a fun card to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new Random Funny Food Sentiments.  I stamped in on Navy cardstock with Versamark and embossed it in white.  I paired it with the Cupcake die set.  I chose bright happy colors and scattered them around the border.  (The center was cut using a square die)  I added some sprinkles to the tops and Stickles to the bottoms of each cupcake.  I had this colorful string in my stash and was so excited to use it here! :)

Vintage Love....

Hello friends!

I finally got to meet me new granddaughter.  It was so bitter sweet leaving her back in Georgia. She is perfect in every way.  

*Sigh* 

I have a card today using several new products from Whimsy Stamps.  I used the Fashion Dress Form Die set.   I added black tulle to create the skirt, a small flower embellishment, and a bit of black string.  The back ground was done using the Postmarks Background stamp. It was stamped in a light pink and die cut using the Inverted Scallops Rectangle die and the Stitched Oval Die.
