Moxie Fab World! Tuesday Trigger!

Good morning to you! I had a bit of spare time to create just for fun, so I decided to participate in this week's Tuesday Trigger. I love the fun colors of this photo!
I used this cute little stamp from Imaginisce. I used my Copic markers to color it. I cut it out applied glossy accents to it and sprinkled it with glitter. The clouds were glitterless, but I did manage to add two teeny pearls to them. I used the two lacy frames by Spellbinders and ran strips of colored paper through them.

I used a lot of white space to really make my image pop! I embossed the background to give it a bit of texture.

The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. I added several rhinestones for some glam and glitz! ; )

OH! And look who was spotted by Cath at Moxie Fab World! Kyle's graduation card! I was so thrilled and surprised! : ) : )

Well, the hubby and I had our first dance class......and we survived without stepping all over each other's feet! We learned the basic steps of the Waltz, the box step, 4 corners, and the twirl! It was a lot of fun, and I am so glad we signed up for this! I am blessed that I have a husband who is willing to take up dancing for me..........he is truly a good sport!

Have a great weekend!! And Happy Father's Day to all of you dads out there!

Hello Thursday!

Good morning! Do you know what day today is? It is Hello Thursday in Provo Craft World! Once a month, PC comes out with brand spankin' new cartridges to share with you! This month is extra special because there will be a total of 3 Hello Thursdays! There was one last week, one this week, and one more next week! I had the opportunity to work with a cartridge called Sophisticated by Teresa Collins. I love her style and I am so thrilled that she has teamed up with PC! I used one of the fonts on the cartridge, to create this LOVE card. I think this font is sooooo pretty! I also used a couple of the border cuts......... : )

If you would like more information on this card please be sure to visit, The Official Cricut Blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! : )

Graduation Day!

Good morning! I have some graduation pictures to share with you today. My youngest just graduated 8th grade and is now an official high school freshman! Eeek! Must be why he sleeps in until noon everyday.......and has attitude! ; ) My kid is a mixed bag of tricks.......one minute he is aloof and acts like he doesn't care, the next minute he is helping me in the kitchen telling me that we make a great team. Teens! He also wouldn't "allow" me to buy him a card....nope.....had to be a homemade card. So here is him.......on paper! ; )

I used my Cricut Expression and the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. It was cut at 4". I used all the layer keys and actually added a shirt and tie using the doctor cuts. I popped some elements up with foam squares for dimension. Oh! And did you notice? Not one OUNCE of GLITTER! ; )
And here is my real graduate.........looking so handsome. (I'm a bit partial! : )

He was really a good sport letting "Mamarazzi" take a zillion photos of him! ; )
Now this is his true personality..........goofy.......silly..........love this side of him!
Whew! Diploma in hand! I made it!!
I am truly proud of this young man.......he has struggled with learning difficulties and ADHD. He has had struggles socially and has had few friends. As a mom, this hurts my heart. I've never had the luxury of a house full of kids. Academically, his frustration level has been through the roof.....as well as mine. Through it all he managed to get all A's and B's and took two honors classes. He is headed to a college prep school in the fall and I hope this opens up doors to him.....socially and academically. He is excited to try out for the golf team. His back up plan is to join the Bass Fishing club. (Yes, apparently there is a club for this! Who knew? ) He has talked about joining the Youth Ministry club. I would love this because they do a lot of charity work and the kids who join are probably pretty nice kids. So lots of doors will be open to him.....now he just has to choose to walk through them.

Charming Christmas

Good morning to you!!! Today is my first official day off for the summer! My guys are off golfing and my girl has her last day today.....so Mama will be locked away in her craft room today! JustRite has released a darling little set called Charming Christmas, that coordinates with THIS Spellbinder's die. I love making tags and this is a cute and easy way to do it! But as the Design Team will demonstrate today they make adorable cards and favor toppers too!
For my card today, I stamped the image with Versamark and sprinkled white embossing powder over it. The edges were inked in Memento brown to age it a bit. The sentiment was stamped on vellum with black Staz On ink. I layered it over a sticker from Echo Park and a Martha Stewart Doily. The snowflake was cut using my Cricut machine. I added glossy accents and course clear glitter.
I tied a bit of twine to the top and added a pretty pink Prima flower for a bit of color. I also added teeny rhinestones to the snowflake's centers.
