Christmas Slimline Shaker Card!

Hello friends!
This will likely be my last post until after Christmas.
Kyle comes home today from the Navy, for a week, and Cortney comes home Wednesday.  I want to spend as much time with them as possible while they are here. No crafting or blogging for a bit. :)
I created a slimline shaker card using Whimsy Stamp's Christmas Deer stamp set.  Each adorable animal was stamped in a no line ink and colored with my Zig Clean Color Markers. I used the Slimline Window Tiles Die for the windows.
I used the Slimline Champagne paper and glued acetate behind the windows.
I used Shaker Maker Foam Tape to pop up the panel and added glitter to each square. I used the trees from the Mountain Majesty Die set.

I scattering of hearts and a pink ribbon finished the card off!
Have a very Merry Christmas!
Thank you for supporting my little corner of the crafting world!

Decorate a Tree Die Set!

Hello friends!
Another quick post using Whimsy Stamp's Decorate a Tree Die set.  Such a fun set!
I added depth using Copic markers.  I also added texture paste and glitter for a bit of a fun snowy effect.   The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas Sentiment Assortment.
I used the SurReally Cool Christmas paper for the background. A little twine and a couple of rhinestones finished off the card.

Thank you so much for visiting!

No Line Coloring and Christmas!

Hello friends!
I have another card to share using the Christmas Critters set. I stamped it on water color paper with a no line ink.  I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to bring this cutie to life.  I fussy cut him, added glitter to his hat and a large white pom pom.
The background was done with a sparkly blue texture paste and the Pinwheels Stencil.
I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of water color paper and used my Zigs to color it in.  I hand cut it into a banner shape.  I used the brand new Rainbow Confetti to give a pop of color.
Thanks for stopping!

Countdown to Christmas!

A week from now my house will hold both of my children.
Cortney wasn't home for Christmas last year and Kyle has been in South Carolina since earlier this year.  (In the Navy). I know my house will be noisy, messy, and full of laughter.
I can't wait.
Which means I have a week to post all of the cards I made for Christmas!
So to accomplish this goal, I am posting the products I used below and keeping my instructions minimal.  Most seem to be pretty self explanatory.  If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment. :)

Christmas in Pastels

Hello friends!
Just a quick post today using Whimsy Stamp's Christmas Deer stamp set.  I colored it with Copic Markers and then cut the image out using the Stained Glass Window Die. I cut multiple layers behind my image in pink, blue, and white. (One of my favorite color combos for Christmas). I added some holly leaves and jingle bells to the top from the FaDoodle Holly set.
A bit of glitter, pom pom, and a teeny heart from the Sweetheart Sparkletz collection.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

December First Means New Whimsy Stamp Products!

Hello friends!
Today is the first of December! Can you believe it? 24 days until Christmas!
I have a Christmas Slimline card to share using some new products from Whimsy Stamps.
I used the new Gifts Galore set and colored it with Copic Markers.  I used last month's set with this cutie pie from the No Peeking Mice set. I did a bit of masking so I could add him directly to the background.

For a bit of added interest I used the Twinkle Cluster Stencil to add a few stars to the background.  A few clear gems were added to the centers from the Iceberg-Sparkletz collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas is Coming....

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I have a quick post to share today and a couple of photos from our time with Cortney.
Today's card uses the Tattered Christmas set by Whimsy Stamps.  The ornaments were stamped on a separate piece of paper and fussy cut.  I popped them up using Crafty Foam Tape for added dimension.  The evergreen boughs were stamped directly on paper and I went over the stamped image with various shades of Copic markers as well as a white gel pen.  A bit of texture paste and glitter were added to the top.  The patterned paper is part of the Christmas Eve Paper Pack.
My little family minus one. Kyle couldn't come home for Thanksgiving.  He is still in Power School as part of his Naval training. He does, however, get to come home in December for Christmas. I am counting down the days to hug that kid of mine!
Being able to spend 5 days with Cortney, after last year, was a true blessing.

No Line Coloring Reindeer!

Hi friends!
Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
For the first year in 29 years I am not cooking, my sister is hosting!
Cortney comes home today and will be spending the entire holiday with us.
:)
My slimline card today uses oodles of new products from Whimsy Stamps. The beautiful reindeer come from the Christmas Deer set.  I Stamped them on Bristol Smooth card stock and a no line ink.  I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to bring these cuties to life.  They were fussy cut and set aside.
The background was a combination of several new products and the trees from the Tree Assortment Die set.  The pink dotted background was done with pink inks and the new Diagonal Dots Embossing Folder.  The frame comes from the Slimline Tapered Frames Die set.
I added lots of glitter, adhered layers with Crafty Foam Tape for extra dimension.
I just love these deer so much!!

Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to stop by Whimsy Stamps to see all of the new products!
