Birthday Wishes

I couldn't be any happier that it's Friday! It's been a long challenging week and I am looking forward to a bit of R and R with the family.
Cortney has a photo shoot tomorrow in downtown Chicago and Sunday we are going on our annual apple picking adventure.
Today's card is a hodge podge of pieces I had laying around my craft desk.  A left over flower from another project, leaves I had stamped, embossed, and water colored using a JustRite stamp (Modern Lattice Cling), also a reject from another project. A half piece of doily.
I added some splatters of green paint, epoxy dots, an SRM sticker, and some fun silver thread.
It's a bit wild, messy, free form.....whatever you want to call it.  ;)
Thank you for stopping by! I am once again writing this before heading out to work....so another short and sweet post!
Have a great day!!

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Penny Black Blog Hop!

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Penny Black have teamed up for a fun blog hop this week!
They are giving away some fun prizes, so you need to make sure you visit both of their blogs!
I love this Penny Black stamp called, Deco Tree. It is so whimsical and fun!
I used pops of purple and silver accents.  I used Stickles for a bit of glitz on the tree.
For more information on how I created my card, as well as your chance to enter to win some great prizes, be sure to pop over to both the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog and the Penny Black blog!
Thank you all for stopping by!
Your visits are the highlight of my day!

The Witching Hour

Fall is officially here so I am already starting to get into the Halloween spirit. I am not a fan of "scary" Halloween.  I definitely prefer the cuter side of this holiday.  I love this image from Crafty Secret's Halloween Creative Scraps. I wanted to glam it up a bit, so I added black Stickles to the perimeter of the image.  I added clock hands, rhinestones, and a few sequins.
I had this polka dot tissue paper left over from my birthday so  I created a double ruffle to slip under the image.  I also added seam binding, twine, and a couple of rusty jingle bells.
I am getting ready to head out to school in a bit, so my post is going to be short and sweet today!
Have a great Tuesday!
