Provo Craft at CHA!

I have lots of photos but wanted to share a couple today before I start frantically cleaning my very neglected house! I demo'd for PC all day yesterday and was part of the Cricut Circle club meeting. Tuesday night was the PC gala.....and it was an amazing event. I felt like a girl in Hollywood rubbing elbows with the "famous" people of this fun industry! Drinks, food, entertainment and prizes. CHA this week has left me with many memories.....ones I will hold near to my heart and remember forever. I am tired, but utterly and completely happy!

Here is me with the Cricut bug! : )

And my dear hubby stopped by for a bit to see what all the hub bub was he knows! : )

Thanks for letting me share! Have a great Saturday! I will have some product pics tomorrow! Still editing........ : )

My Teen!

Good morning! Whew! What a whirlwind week it has been! I have met so many people and talked until I am hoarse! My back hurts. My feet hurt.....and I am back at it again today! But I have to is a blast! If you will be at CHA today, I will be working the Provo Craft booth.....why? Well.......I have become part of the Provo Craft DT! I have been keeping it under my hat for a long time and couldn't wait for the cat to come out of the bag!

So do I have CHA pics to share? Not yet. Hopefully, over the weekend......I have a lot to edit and I haven't had time. So instead your stuck with one of my LO's! Sorry to disappoint! : ) This is a LO of my 13 year old using Noel Mignon's Lemonade Stand kit. (sold out) I did some Glimmer Misting and created my won butterflies using my Spellbinder's dies.

I used a small Quickutz banner die to create the title. I added some white gel pen dots to the word, "new" to give it some added pop.

Once butterfly obsession! : )

I pulled out those old letter beads and spelled out my son's name and added them to a stick pin. I added a bit of twine and adhered it to the LO. Be sure to pick up Noel's newest kit Office Party.....there are only 5 left!

My son left for camp last Sunday and here he is (blond on the left) getting ready to board the bus with his two buddies! He will be coming home on Saturday evening. I've been able to write him e-mails and view pics of him on-line. Every picture shows a smiling boy, so it appears he is having a good time! I can't wait for him to tell me all about it!

I am off to get ready for the CHA Consumer show! If you are coming, I hope you come find me at Provo Craft's booth and say hi!
Have a fabulous day!!!! : )

Good morning! I have been having such an amazing time at CHA! I have met so many of my on-line friends in person! I keep telling them they are no longer "fake!" LOL! I feel so blessed by all of you and the many people I've been able to connect with. It makes me seriously happy.

Since I worked at the JustRite booth yesterday and will again today, I thought it appropriate to post a JustRite card. I love all the new Christmas sets and thought I'd get a jump start on the holidays. I used two sets for this card, the Holiday Demi Phrases and From our House 2" square. I stamped the Santa image separate from the border and cut them out with my square Nestibilities. He was colored using my Copics. (Shown below) The edges were all distressed with Tim Holtz Distressing ink in Frayed Burlap. I did a bit of stitching and added a bow and button as finishing touches. are the Copics I used. : )
I am off again for the day..........check in with you later. : ) I do have some pics of the new products coming out too!

Altered Chipboard Frame

Good morning! Today starts my exciting week at CHA! I am a wee bit nervous but can't wait to meet everyone in person. I am helping today at the Crafty Secret's booth. Today is a set up day and I get to touch and look at all the of pretty things Sandy has in her booth! I get to meet the sweet Vicki Chrisman too! We've chatted on line and on the phone but never in person. So I thought it would be appropriate to post a little wall hanging I made using a chipboard frame and a Crafty Secrets Birds & Blossom Creative Scrap. I Glimmer Misted the frame in Sky Blue and then inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink in Frayed Burlap. I added glitter around the main image using my Sakura Glue pen. Pearls and scrunched seam binding were a final touch.

The back was stamped with a wee stamp from a Christmas stamp that comes with the Postcard kits. I liked how nicely it fit inside the rectangle and gave it a bit of visual interest. Glitter and pearls were also added.

If anyone is going to the CHA show I hope you come and find me! Tomorrow and Wednesday I will be at the JustRite Booth! Hope to see you there!
Have a great day!!!
