Halloween-Whimsy Stamp's September Release!

Good morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
I am excited to share Whimsy Stamp's new September release, Candle Creeps! I love the different candles that come in this set. They are all interchangeable on the candelabra, which is so much fun! I stamped the image with black Memento ink and colored it with Copic markers.
I sponged the background with Tim Holtz Distress ink and splattered a bit of water.  The "table" that the candelabra sits on was done with Copics. I added a few sequins and squeezed Stickles in the centers of the sequins, flames, and spider web.  I had a spider sequin in my stash that was perfect to hang off the candle. A bit of black twine finished the card off. :)I used Crafty Foam tape in between the layers.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Color My World!

Hello friends!
I have a quick post to share with you today using my new favorite set by Whimsy Stamps, Artist Toolkit.  I stamped the brushes, colored them in with Copics, added glossy accents to the handles and Stickles to the bristles.  I added a rainbow using the new die, Array of Rainbows.
I wanted to add a bit of interest to the background so I stamped the new Marble Background stamp in Memento black. I adhered the layers with Crafty Foam tape and added a few rhinestones from my stash. I also added Stickles to the clouds for additional sparkle.
Have a great day!

Listen to Your Art!

Hello friends!
Hope you had a great week! Today I have a card using my favorite new set from Whimsy Stamps, Artist Toolkit! I stamped the images in a light grey ink and water colored them.  I fussy cut them out and added glossy accents to the paint portion.
I used the new Array of Rainbows die set.  I cut the rainbow and stars out of water colored paper and water colored it.  I wanted to add a bit of interest to the background so I stamped the new Marble Background stamp in light grey. I stamped the sentiment in black Memento ink and adhered the rainbow, paint, and stars.  I added a few star Sparkletz too. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Mermaid Escape

Good morning friends! I am sharing another Mermaid Escape card from Whimsy Stamp's August release.  I colored the individual pieces with Copic markers and used the coordinating die cuts. For the background I used Tim Holtz inks and spritzed it with a bit of water.  I wanted to add bubbles, so I used the background stamp with Versamark and embossed it in white.
I layered the pieces over the background with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added some pink tulle and Stickles to the mermaid.

I am off to a Google doc training for school today.  My first official day is tomorrow.  Wish me luck as I enter a brand new school year!

Mermaid Dreams...

Good morning friends! I start school in just a few days and trying to get everything I need done accomplished. My room is set up and ready to go.  My "doctoring" is complete for the summer, and I've had a few moments here and there to create.
I created this card using Whimsy Stamp's Mermaid Escape.  I did a no line coloring by stamping the image on water color paper and Distress Ink in Antique Linen. I used Zig Clean Color Markers to bring the image to life
I wanted to jazz up the background a bit, so I used the Curly Q's background stamp.  I softened the stamping by doing a bit of ink blending around the edges. I popped up the image using Crafty Foam tape. I used a white gel pen to add dots to the sand, tied a glittery ribbon around the top, and adhered a few clear droplets and stars from the Sparkletz collection.
Thanks for popping by today!

School of Fish!

Good morning!
I am knee deep in getting my class room set up this week.  Our open house is next week, so I have to get prepared! This is always an exciting time of the year when summer for me winds down and a new school year starts. :)
Today's card is still celebrating summer with a variety of aquatic life! I love Whimsy Stamp's new set, Mermaid Escape.  I have several cards using the mermaid as the focal point, that I will share later, but I love using small images to create a fun background. I randomly stamped each creature and used the bubble stamp, included in this set, to fill in any gaps.
I used Copic markers to color all of the images.  The background panel was done with water colors. I adhered all of the layers using Crafty Foam Tape for dimension. I added a silk ribbon and a few gems.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by today!

Floral Birthday!

Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend!
I have a card today that uses one of my favorite sets from Whimsy Stamps, called, Beaucoup Bouquet.  I don't know what it is about flowers, but I am drawn to them.
I did a bit of no line water coloring stamping the image first with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen.  Once the image was dry, I splattered white acrylic paint over it.  I then stamped the sentiment with Memento black ink
I layered the image over several pieces of card stock using Crafty Foam Tape.  The polka dot paper is from the 6 x 6 Pretty Pastels paper pack.  I tied an orange bow at the top too!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
