3-D Frame by Crafty Secrets!

Good morning to you all! I am heading off to my graduate class and had a few moments to post a project I created for the Crafty Secret's booth at CHA. I used the 3-D frame by Accucut (and the vision of DT Leader, Vicki Chrisman), with the brand new fairy scraps! I created a shaker box for the center panel with a transparency and Martha Stewart sequins. I added lots of glitter and sequins to dress it up.

Can you see the little heart sequins in there? : ) shake, shake, shake!!!

Well, I know this is a quick post......but I have class! I need to go learn something valuable! : )
I hope all of you have a FANTASTIC weekend!!! And as always, thank you so much for your sweet visits!

Little Wall Hanging....

Good morning to you all! I was going through my computer's pictures before taking my hard drive into the tech guy and realized that I hadn't posted this little wall hanging I created of my niece and nephew. I created it using the frames from Spellbinders. I used Noel Mignon's Dear Santa kit and some 7 Gypsies antique hanger thingies.... (Don't know what they are called!) The snowflake and label are also from Spellbinders. I added glitter and a vintage button to the snowflakes.

Why oh why is this picture so small????? Get your Sherlock Holmes magnifying glass out! LOL!

Did you see Santa's expression in this picture? His big bug eyes? Makes you wonder what my nephew said to him, doesn't it?

No computer yet.......still working on my teeny tiny laptop. The tech guy called yesterday to tell me my "power supply" was weak and some part needed to be replaced. I guess you aren't supposed to leave your computer on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.......who knew? LOL!
Thank you for coming here for a visit! : )

New Release by Crafty Secrets!

I love this time of year!!!I love seeing all the new products being released! It's like Christmas all over again! I have a card to show you today using Crafty Secret's new release called Seasonal Friends. I love that this set comes with 4 large images to color. They are so beautifully detailed. I colored the image with Copics and added Flower Soft to the tree and flowers. I love the added dimension it gives. I used papers and vintage lace from Noel Mignon's Object of My Affection kit. (sold out already!) I added a satin and pearl flower I found in the wedding section at Michaels. I love this section! It has such pretty containers, flowers, floral picks, etc!

I love the fact that the sentiment is on a "banner!" I curled mine up a bit!
Love my Flower Soft!!!! : )

I wanted to thank you for all of your kind comments. I appreciate your support. I truly am a pretty upbeat positive person most of the time......but you know, sometimes it all just seems to pile up and ya get a bit buried...... : )
My computer is in the repair shop and the tech thinks he can remove the virus and keep most of my stuff on there. I should get my computer back at the end of the week. I am so grateful.....I know it is petty and such a little thing in the whole scheme of things.....but my computer makes me happy. So I will be glad to have it back! I owe so many of you a visit........I promise to be back in the blogosphere soon!!!
Have a FANTASTIC Wednesday!!!

Life....

Life has been a bit harry these days, to say the least. Sometimes I just want to curl up and leave the world behind for awhile. It gets the best of me......for awhile. Then I stand up tall and barrel through the crap that is thrown my way. I am strong. I am a fighter. My heart will mend and move on. Thank goodness for this hobby. It is incredibly therapeutic. It forces me to get out what I want to say.......and it frees up my heart just a bit. Like weights being lifted off my shoulders. So just a fair warning......this journaling is not all fairy tales, and happiness. It is me. My feelings and how my heart aches at times.......

Noel Mignon's challenge this week is to do something different. My "different" was creating the background with old vintage papers and paint. It was sort of artsy for me.....but I loved the soft pretty results. If you would like to play along this week, head HERE! Plus the DT gal's LO's are gorgeous as ever. (And probably not nearly as "heavy" as mine..... : )
I hope I didn't scare you away! I promise that tomorrow's post will be much more "light!" : )
Have a great day!

JustRite's Botanical Blog Hop!

It's JustRite Blog Hop time!!! I love this time, when we get to show you some of the new products! I used the Seeds of Kindness set for my project. I found these wedding boxes at Michaels and thought they would be cute to alter. I used Martha Stewart paper, I loved its bright happy colors! I stamped the image in two colors and used my Nesties to cut them out. I added a few rhinestones for some sparkle and a pretty satin ribbon.

Wouldn't these be cute to put on a co-worker's or teacher's desk? Just to make them smile and brighten their day?

My computer is toast....it crashed on Friday and I am working in less than perfect conditions. I am on a very tiny laptop and it has been difficult to post my pics because they were all on my other computer. So please be patient with me.....I haven't had much time to visit you and I apologize for that! I am taking the hard drive in this week to see if anything is salvageable.
Have a great day!!!!

Some Sneaks & Community Service!

OK, I have to just say this......this week totally stunk! I've had a sick child home all week, my van needs repairs, and today, my main computer crashed due to some crazy virus! Talk about aggravating! So I am currently working on it to remove the virus. So this post is a bit late in going up.....obviously, since it is after 8 o'clock at night! I know, keep it in perspective, it is ONLY a computer. And Cort is feeling better......so I shouldn't complain.

Anyway, I have a few sneaks of a brand new kit coming out by Noel Mignon, called, Object of My Affection! You can see some of the kit's contents HERE! Here are some lovey dovey cards I made........ : )

As always, Noel does a fabulous job of packing this kit with such unique vintage finds as well as lots of brand new stuff! SWOON!!!
I'll show you all of it on the 18th when the kit comes out! Order yours fast.....they won't last long!

I also have this to share with you....... : )
I created this LO of my son, Kyle from various papers in my stash. Lots of October Afternoon, some Jenni Bowlin stuff, and a cute dog iron-on from Michaels. He collected items to benefit our local animal shelter. You can read more about his service project below. : )

................*sigh* I'm takin' a deep breath, tomorrow is a brand new day..........
Have a wonderful weekend!
