Another gift idea! (and a family picture!)

I have been working feverishly to make some more gifts! I had these cute little Chinese take out boxes from Michaels and decided to make a bunch of gift tags! My hubby already snagged this one for his boss's wife! The image outside of the box is another Crafty Secret's image called, Christmas Joy. I colored him in with my Copics and inked up the edges to distress them a bit. I used Versamark and extra thick embossing powder on both the ornament and bow. I did add some chunky glitter under his feet for some "snow." The little brown snowflake was cut from Kraft card stock, distressed, covered with glue, and sprinkled with chunky glitter. After it was dry, I sprayed it with walnut ink. I also added a rhinestone to the center.
The tags were made from Crafty Secret's, Vintage Christmas set and Papertrey Ink's Holiday Tags Collection.

I tried to add some special touches to the tags, by liquid appliqueing the coffee cups, adding crystal lacquer to the mice, glittered snowflakes, and a red Dew Drop to the center of the snowflakes.

The side of the box has another "sugared" snowflake and a teeny jewelry tag for the recipient of this gift.

A couple of weeks ago, my family went downtown, Chicago. Every year we see the lights, the windows, German town, and have lunch. This year was even better because my sister (in the red coat) and her hubby and kids, were able to join us! So.......do we look a like or what? ( My mom is the one standing next to Cortney.....yep, she is only 4' 11! )
****Thanks for everyone's kind words last week. I do feel better. I spent some much needed time alone with hubby on a "date" night. We finished putting up our decorations, and I just took a break from the computer and scrappin......which sometimes I need to do! I hope my "funk" i s over, because I really do hate feeling that way!
I know this is an oxymoron.....but have a GREAT Monday!
