Good morning! Today is day 2 of my "Final Week of Summer....Summer Cards!" ;) And this one by Suzy Plantamura has the best saying. Ever. We all claim to be busy. (myself included) But we need to slow down and take time for the things...or people that are important.
We all know life is short, but we often forget in the midst of living our "busy" lives.
I colored this card using my Zig Clean Color Markers. Once it was dry, I used my Copic markers to add shadows and polka dots. The shadows help the letters pop off the page and give it depth.
The card is so fun and colorful by itself that I kept the embellishments to a minimum. Just a veritical gingham ribbon, and a bit of glossy accents on some of the words.

Oh, my gosh, this really IS fun and I totally subscribe to that saying! Life does get pretty busy with things you can't help, but you have to grab the time when you can. Amazing coloring -- bright, fun, pretty! Love the shadowing. It's so summery looking. Now that you're heading back to school I imagine summer seemed pretty short.
