Springtime!

Happy weekend!
I hope you are all doing well.
I myself have to admit that I am struggling a bit.  We are now quarantined until May 30.  My Cortney's birthday is May 2nd and this will be the first year since she was born, that we will not spend with her. It makes me sad.
The only thing that keeps me going is the warmer weather and this hobby of mine.  I used the new Poppy Flower dies from Whimsy.  I paired them with felt.  I sewed a button to the middle.  For the smaller "bud" I cut one of the petals and glued the three remaining together.
The sentiment was stamped on orange paper from the Easter Memories stamp set.  This gorgeous paper is part of the Fabulous Florals pack.   For the card itself I used the Nested Hexagon Die set. I added some silk ribbon, and a few rhinestones to finish off the card.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Have a great weekend!

Hi Michele:
I can't tell you how much I fell in LOVE with this set during the recent blog hop. In fact, upon seeing your card for the hop, I headed on over to Whimsy and ordered it ALL...right down to that FAB watercolor paper pad. I haven't received my items yet, but I cannot WAIT to get my hands on them. There were several other Whimsy goodies I've got my eye on, but hey..ya gotta spread out the fun, right? Heaven knows I'll get them eventually cuz...that's jut how I am. LOL Thanks for the inspiration. You've given me so many great ideas for using my new goodies. You always seem to inspire me. Hope you're all doing well.
Blessings,
Karen Letchworth
