Hello friends!
I am off today and enjoying the 60 degree temps in the Chicago area. A little spring cleaning always makes me feel like the winter blahs are over!
I have a brand new card today to share using Whimsy Stamp's Ticket Coupon Elements and Terrific Slim Tickets Die. I stamped everything in black on cream card stock. I added pops of color with red, gray, and yellow Copic Markers. The numbers are from the Candle Numbers stamp set. My husband turns 58 in June, so I thought this would be a perfect masculine card with a vintage feel to it. (Since he is so vintage himself! LOL)
I have a large container of glass glitter but didn't want it to be too stark and "new" looking. So mixed the glitter with a couple of drops of mushroom alcohol ink from Tim Holtz. It gave it the perfect vintage shade!
I love the look of coffee stains on cards so I took Distress ink and my water bottle. I watered it down a bit and "inked" the bottom of my water bottle to give it a coffee stain effect. I added a few splatters and a bit of grit paste to the edges.
Be sure to check out Whimsy's full release! So many fun products!
