No Line Water Coloring

Hello friends!
Hope you had a great week!
I have a new card today using Whimsy Stamp's    Polka Dot Pals Fern set.  This little gal is so sweet and she was so much fun to water color. I have been on a Karin Brushmarker kick lately and loving the no line look.
She looks like a storybook character. :)
Once all of the water coloring was dry, I added a few dark shadows and details to her hair with colored pencils.  I added white highlights with acrylic paint.  I used Glossy Accents for her glasses.
I kept the card pretty simple because I wanted the focus to be on her.  So I stamped the sentiment directly on the image with black ink. I love the font of this sentiment!
I added a few Love Hearts Sparkletz. For the background, I used the Speckled Heart Stencil and adhered the image on top using Crafty Foam Tape.
Thank you for stopping by today! Your visits are always appreciated!

New Release from Whimsy Stamps!

Good morning friends!
Can you tell I am back at work?
No posts for nearly a week?
This week has kicked my butt! ;)
I am sharing Whimsy Stamp's new release called, Giraffe Smiles.  It is the sweetest set!
I used a No Line ink and colored it with Copic Markers.  I used the coordinating dies to cut these two out. I decided I wanted this sweet pair to be nestled in flowers and leaves. So I die cut the leaves from the Giraffe Smiles Die set and a flower from the Peony Flower Die set.
I colored the leaves and flower using Copic markers.  For my background I used the new  Giraffe Stencil. I opted for pink because I LOVE pink! I layered everything and added a silk ribbon tied with twine.  For a finishing touch I added a few Love Hearts Sparkletz and a few gems from the  Snow Crystals Sparkletz collection.

I so appreciate you taking the time to stop by today!
Have a wonderful weekend!

No Line Coloring With Copics

Hello!
I have a quick post today using Whimsy Stamp's Bunny Delivery stamp set.
I think this bunny is darling!
I stamped it with a no line coloring ink and colored it with Copic markers.  I used a white gel pen to give the "fur" texture. I added snow using Stickles.
I added Love Hearts Sparkletz.  I layered the image over the Cozy Winter paper pack using Crafty Foam Tape.  I tied the top with silk ribbon and a couple of jingle bells from my stash. (Which I am totally addicted to! I have whole drawer dedicated to just jingle bells!)
My vacation is just about over....and then back to my kiddos at school. These past two weeks have been great but I think I am actually ready to teach again and get back into my routine.  :)
Have a great day friends!

Valentine Boxes!

Hello everyone! I am excited to share a brand new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called Valentine Puns!  Who doesn't like a good pun now and again?
I paired it with the Mini Treat Box die (No pun intended! LOL!) I stamped each image with a no line ink and used my Karin Brushmarkers.   After the images were dry I did add a few shadows with a black colored pencil and highlights with a white gel pen. For the pears I added a "Shmear" of Stickles for some sparkle.
Isn't this taco the best?  I just want to squeeze his little taco face!
I tied string around each box multiple times and tied it into a bow.  The images were cut using the Stitched Circles die.  I adhered it to the top of the box using Crafty Foam Tape.
For the last image, we are going old school.  I remember in college getting my first electrical typewriter and thinking I was all that!
Technology sure has changed in the past few decades!
Here is a better angle of the sentiment in the front of each box.  :)
Thank you for stopping by my friends! Have a wonderful Friday!
