Hello!

I found this cute paper at Michaels a few weeks ago by DCWV and knew I had to use it with the Crafty Secret's Sweet Stuff set. The paper is even prettier in real life because it sparkles like crazy! The image was colored with Copics. The circles were cut with my Spellbinder's Nestibilities. The bottom piece was cut with my new Spellbinder's die. Love how lacy and pretty it looks!

I also added some Crystal Lacquer to the chocolate in the bowl.

I managed to get to Cort's school and Shriners yesterday. I love visiting her school, because the staff just loves Cort. She is soooooo talkative and happy there. If you only knew how long we waited to hear her talk........it is truly the best thing in the world to hear her sing songy sweet little voice! Her orthopaedic appt. was uneventful. Everything looks ok. Her muscles are super tight and we are considering Botox injections, but not until the late summer or fall. We'll see.
I am going on a field trip with my 5th graders. A forest preserve that conducts different programs.....like pond life, tracking, edible wild plants, etc. Should be a fun day, and the weather is supposed to be in the 60's and sunny! Maybe spring has finally arrived?! Have a wonderful day!!!!

So glad all went well with Cort with her doctor appointment and what a wonderful moment when you first heard her voice!!! Sounds like a fun trip today!!! I always wanted to be a school teacher, that was my dream, but Dad would not agree to help me with the tuition so I ended up as a Social Worker!!!! I still would love to teach, but maybe volunteer work would fill that void!!!! Have a wonderful day!
