Vintage Rose

Good morning all! I hope you've had a good week! I have a Crafty Secret's card to share with you today. I colored this Rose image when I attended the Circle Crop a month or so ago. I love coloring and this image required a lot of it! ; ) I used Copics and cut the image out with my square Spellbinder's die. The edges were inked. I used a Spellbinder's Lacey Square's frame to matte the image. The papers are by Papertrey and October Afternoon. I used a bit of lace from SU! and vintage buttons. I snuck a doily in at the bottom and a few pearls.

So what's on the agenda for you this weekend? We are hanging out at home, hoping to open our pool.....which seems rather silly considering yesterday was only 47 degrees! But it has to get warmer at some point right? ; ) Kyle has his 8th grade trip downtown today......which just reminds me how quickly the school year and graduation are approaching.
It is also my 18th wedding anniversary this weekend........but we've decided to celebrate at home. No big fancy celebration this year.....just a quiet dinner and bottle of wine here. Be sure to check back this weekend.....I will have a scrappy page to share with you!

Have a great day today!!!!!

Happy Anniversary.....we opened our pool 2 weeks ago when it was in the 50s...it does feel silly, but yesterday was 75 and even tho the water is still cold, the kids were splashing away and laughter filled the backyard...it's good to hear the familiar sounds of summer. Beautiful card. Enjoy your low key weekend...the best kind.

What a beautiful image Michele. Love all four of these Clear Art Floral Stamps. Your card is gorgeous and the coloring and design awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. Hope you have a fun filled long holiday weekend (with good weather) to relax and soak up the rays.

We are planning to work in the yard since we have had very few great weekends to catch up on pruning and weed control. We have had some lovely days but the weekends have been mostly rainy. With two acres there is a lot to do and it sounds as thou this weekend's weather will be very cooperative so that we can get most of it accomplished.
