The Artist

I haven't shared a Crafty Secrets card in a bit and I've been working on a few behind the scenes here! I had the pleasure of working on an adorable new set called, All Dolled Up.  I have several cards made already with this set and will be sharing the others soon!  My first card I created was this little artist gal. I colored her with my Copics and added a bit of lace to her dress.  Her artist's palette was given a bit of dimension using glossy accents.
I used real brushes as an accent and couldn't resist painting them and glittering them up!

The papers are by Graphic 45...... : )

Here is the set in its entirety.  LOVE it right? ; )

I also wanted to tell you about a new site by one of my bloggy friends, Karen Letchworth.  It is a wonderful  and inspirational new challenge site called, Word Art Wednesday. I hope you get a chance to pop on over there and check it out!

Thank you for always taking the time to stop by and leave such sweet comments.  You are all a blessing to me!
Happy Easter to all of you!

What a wonderfully colored image! The blue checkered Graphic 45 DP and red seam binding ribbon are just perfect for this vintage paper doll. Gosh I love your artwork, Michele. Happy Easter to you and your beautiful family.

Love this stamp set... I reminds me of playing with paper dolls as a kid. (I am thinking that I have not changed much.)

This is a fabulous set. I am going to get one!! I love your card and all the 3D elements. I have a Great-Great Aunt Freida. I never her met her. She is generations behind me. BUT my Nana made sure I had some of her cards. She would buy cards and always added lace, glitter, sequins etc to make it her own. I feel I have much in common with a wonderful relative I have never met. Your card reminds me of her.
