Sharing some sweetness......

My girl decided to be a woman of 2012 and ask cutie pie Jimmy to the prom this year.  She had been practicing for several days to ask him........

You Tube Video
These moments are so huge for  me.  Her milestones have been far and wide....but when she has one it is that much sweeter.....her smile just lights up the room! (and "Jimbo's too!)

Well, that got the tears flowing! Cortney is such a beautiful girl, and that smile lights up the room! I can't wait to see prom pictures!

My Maddy will be going to a "special" school for bigger kids next year. I have mixed emotions about it. They also offer prom for all classes there. Maybe one day, I will be in your shoes.

My Maddy just got out of the hospital today after two surgeries and six incisions in her head and belly. Her shunt failed and the first surgery didn't fix it. Does Cortney have shunts at all? Anyway, the reason I came to your page was to look at pix of Cortney's cute hairstyle. Maddy had to have her head shaved in a few places and now is as good a time as any to cut it short.

Tell Cortney that she should be flattered! I showed the video to Maddy and she was quite interested in it. Oh, I also wanted to ask what kind of mount you have on Cortney's wheelchair? Does it swing away so you can get her in and out of her chair with ease?

I hope you don't mind all of the personal stuff I'm asking. If you'd like to respond to me on Facebook, that would be fine.

Thanks,
Paula Drew
