JustRite's New Release-Day 3!

Good morning! Today is JustRite's 3rd day of new releases! Their new set, Christmas Vintage Labels One,  Is beautiful and has an old fashioned quality to it.  I decided to  use one element from the set.  The snowflake.  I wanted to create my own designer paper with it.  The card itself was cut with my Cricut and the Sweater Weather cartridge.  I lined the curved part with pink paper, glued it on the inside flap and trimmed it with pinking shears.  I stamped the snowflake in Aqua Mist by Papertrey Ink.  I filled the centers with glossy accents and sprinkled it with glitter.  I used two snowflake dies.  The larger one is an old Sizzix die I had in my stash, and the smaller one is by Spellbinders.  Both were inked, glossy accented (is that even a word??), and sprinkled with glitter. I tied my jingle bells to the center with a bit of twine
The silk ribbon is from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply store. I added a few rhinestones under the sentiment.

I did create another card using this set in a more traditional way....I will post that next week! : )
Be sure to check out the other designer's blogs for inspiration using this new set!

Yesterday was my first day off, and I was so happy to get caught up on some things in my house that had been sorely neglected.  For the last two weeks, I had this mind set that when something needed to be done, I'd say, "I'm off in two weeks, I'll do it then...."  Well let me tell ya, after two weeks of that nonsense, the chores had piled up! ; )  So I am happy to report that my laundry is almost caught up, the bathrooms are sparkling, the floors vacuumed, the kitchen surfaces picked up, and my craft room actually has counterspace showing!!! Yay Me!!!
Hoping you have a productive and happy day!!!

Another beautiful card...not that I'm surprised! Good job catching up the chores! I have the same bad habit of putting them off, and it makes for a lot of work all at once!
