Lovin' My Gnomies!

Happy weekend friends!

I have another card to share with you using the new set from Whimsy called, Gnome Think Spring. I can't seem to get enough of this adorable set!  I stamped this cutie on water color paper and inked him in Antique Linen Distress ink.  I used my Karin Brushmarkers to color him in.  I took an additional white card stock and used the Leaves Background stamp with Versarmark.  I embossed it in an avocado green.  The center was cut out using the Pierced and Stitched Circle Die. 

I added a sheer polka dot ribbon and a flower I had made ages ago in my stash of "stuff."  I layered everything with Crafty Foam tape and added a teeny heart for a final touch.

Collaboration and Instagram Hop-Whimsy Stamps and Cardstock Warehouse!

Hello friends!

I am excited to be a part of a fun Instagram hop between Whimsy Stamps and Cardstock Warehouse!

Cardstock Warehouse has quality card stock and the prices are really reasonable! I used Whimsy's Gnome Think Spring stamp set with the Merry-Go-Round card stock collection.  I love the fun bright colors of the Merry-Go-Round collection! They just make me happy! The image was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. I cut the papers into 1/4 inch strips and adhered them to printer paper.  This assures that it won't be too thick to put through a die cut machine. I used the pierced and stitched circles die and adhered my little gnome and butterfly.  I added a few teeny hearts from the Sweetheart Sparkletz collection and tiny grapefruit slice to the center of my bow. 

My second card is similar but I used the Wavy Pierced Rectangles Die and the Unicorn Kisses stamp set.  I colored it with Copics and added polka dots with Copics and Stickles.  I used another teeny heart under the sentiment, and a silk ribbon to tie it all together.  :)

I am excited to share Whimsy Stamp's March release with you!

Who doesn't like an adorable gnome hugging an even more adorable bunny? The set is called, Gnome Think Spring.   I did a no line coloring technique.  I colored the image using Karin Brushmarkers. 

I stamped the sentiment and added teeny hearts from the Sweetheart Sprinkletz. 

I layered everything with Crafty Foam Tape. I also used the new Bokeh Bliss 6x6 paper.

I meant to share this yesterday for St. Paddy's Day, but let's just say that yesterday was a crazy day!

I finally heard from my son, and he announced that he is indeed, officially, a SAILOR! Today he has his graduation.  I am sad I don't get to attend, but it will be aired on Friday for all of the families to watch.  I am over the moon with how much he has grown, matured, and accomplished over the last 12 weeks. 

So that is why my intentions to post yesterday, did not happen. ;)

My card today uses Whimsy Stamp's new Slimline Clouds Die.  I layered it over the St. Patrick's Day Slimline paper.   I used an image from the Dragon New Year Stamps.   It was colored with Copics and fussy cut. 

I covered the balloon with glossy accents and sprinkled a bit of glitter over it.  I added black string and a teeny heart from the Sweetheart Sprinkletz collection.   Shamrocks were added from the Lucky Charms Sparkletz collection.

Spring Has Sprung!

Good morning and happy weekend!

I have some new Whimsy Stamp's products to share with you today!

First, is this beautiful new die called, Magnolia. I used Karin Brushmarkers on water color paper and then cut it out using the Magnolia die.  I placed it over another water colored panel.  I was going for a watery effect. ;) 

I stamped a tag using the Spring Birds Clear Stamp set. I gave it a wash of water color and tied it to my vertical bow with a bit of string. I added pearls to the centers of the magnolias for a final touch.

Whimsy Stamp's March Release! Hello Spring!

Hello friends!

I hope you are doing well!

Today is March 10th and that means it is time for Whimsy Stamp's new release! 

This new pocket die is such a fun die to work with! Who doesn't like pockets? It is perfect for a bit of cash or a cute gift card!

I paired the new pocket die with the new 6 x 6 Eggstra Bunnies papers.  I layered everything on white folded cardstock.  I stamped Hello Spring from the new Spring Birds stamp set.  

I wanted to add a little somethin' somethin' to my card so I cut felt flowers and leaves from the Poppy Flower Die set.   I added a glittery button from the Kinetic Basics Dies, to the center and tied pink tulle around the top of the pocket.

The Lord and Savior

Good morning! 

I have another card to share with you, told you these sets were my favorite! ;)

I used the Savior Dies and Savior Stamp set to create my Slim line card. 

I water colored the back panel in colors of a sunrise.  I framed it out using the Slimline Scenic Countryside Die.   The sentiment was directly stamped on the cross.  

I added some Copic coloring to add depth to the die cuts.  Everything was assembled using Crafty Foam Tape.
