Stamptember!

Hello!

I am so excited to share this adorable set from the Whimsy Stamp's/Simon Says Stamp, Stamptember release! This adorable pooch is part of the Pawsitively Awesome set.  He was colored in with Copics and glossy accents added to his sunglasses.  I used the Mitered Frames.  I had to use a piece of the black and white paper from the Mix n Match Neutrals 6 x 6 paper pack.  

I bit of pink twine and a little flower from my stash were added as a finishing touch.  Clean and Simple.  (At least for me! LOL)

Get Well from Rats You're Sick!

Good morning!

A quick post today with this card using Whimsy Stamp's Rats You're Sick set.   I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut him out.  The background was kept simple.  Stamped the sentiment in the lower half and used the Pinwheels Stencil for the top half. I popped him up using Crafty Foam Tape and called it done.  CAS for the win!

Whimsy's New Release Day!

It is September 10th, which means 2 things!

First, it is my birthday! I am 29 again! ;)

And second, it is Whimsy Stamp's new release day!  I think I am more excited about the release day. HA! 

Who doesn't love a slimline card in the shape of a tombstone? And a shaker card to boot! The die set is called, Slimline Decrepit Grave.  I cut the pieces of water color paper and used Distress Oxide inks in Hickory Smoke and Black Soot.  I used Grit Paste all over and let it dry.  Once dry I swiped Distress oxide crayons (black) over the raised areas. I did the same thing with the skull and cross bones. 

I glued a piece of acetate to create a shaker card.  The background was also done on water color paper in shades of purples.  I filled my shaker with Victorian Halloween Confetti Mix.  I added a few spiders here and there to my flowers as well.  

I added some flowers and leaves to the tomb using the new Wild Weeds Die set.  The sentiment is part of the Hocus Pocus Kittens stamp set.

Back On Your Feet in no Time!

Good morning friends!

I have a get well card to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new, Rats You're Sick stamp set.   This is a type of card I need to make more of.  Maybe not a broken leg specifically, but get well cards in general.  This set offers lots of different ailments...LOL.  I colored this lil' mouse with Copics and fussy cut him out.  I stamped the sentiments in black and used the Brick Pattern Stencil for the background. 

I tied a bit of black string and felt I needed just a little somethin' somethin' to my card.  I added these small yellow clay circles from the Bokeh Bliss Blue Confetti Mix. I added smaller gold discs on top for added interest.

Halloween!

It is September now, and even though it is still in the upper 80's here, my mind is already drifting towards fall. So many exciting changes in the next couple of months.  My son is graduating the Navy's Nuclear Power School at the end of September.  And then, he is getting married on October 28th.  Crazy how the last couple of years have changed our lives immensely.  

I am definitely in fall mode and cranking out some fun Halloween cards.  This witch is part of the So Witchy stamp set from Whimsy.  I colored her with Copics and fussy cut her out. 

The background was created using the Broken Web embossing folder on black paper.  I swiped it with a white ink to make it pop a bit.  I added a piece of black and white polka dot paper from the 6 x 6 Mix n Match Neutrals.  I literally hoard every scrap of this paper! Orange twine and a few orange enamel dots were added as a finishing touch.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello and good morning!

Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release! I hope you love Halloween! So many fun spooky, and not so spooky products available! For today's card I used this awesome Drippy Frame Die.  I cut it in red card stock, inked the edges in Black Soot, and gave it a coating of glossy accents.  I inked up a piece of water color paper in various shades of Distress Oxide inks and stamped my sentiment from the Trick or Treat House set. 

I cut out the drippy frame again with crafty foam and glued it under my cardstock frame.  I adhered it directly over the sentiment.  I felt I needed a little "something, something" so I added a black cat from the Build a Graveyard Die set.  I attached everything to the cobweb paper from the Haunted Graveyards 6 x 6 paper pack.  As a finishing touch I glued a scattering of red sequins from the Freshly Picked Cherries Confetti Mix.

Halloween Birthday

Hello friends! 

I have a Halloween birthday card to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new Boo Day stamp set.  My future daughter in law's birthday is right on Halloween, so I made this with her in mind. :)

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers.  I chose the smaller images so I could use the balloon dies from the Happy Hamsters Outline Die set.

The background was embossed using Bats Galore. 

I added a strip of black and white polka dotted paper from the Mix n Match Neutrals paper pack.  (I am obsessed with this paper! I keep every single scrap of it!) I added a few gold sequins from the Bokeh Bliss Confetti Mix and called it finished! :)
