Whimsy Stamp's Mini Release!

Today is Whimsy Stamp's Mini Release!

I am featuring their new Elvira Moonlighting Dies and their super cool paper pack,  Vampire.

I die cut all of the pieces and added a bit of Copic Coloring, and sparkle to her dress.  I used teeny black gems for her eyes.  

The Vampire paper was a perfect backdrop for Elvira! I added a bit of yellow sponging behind the moon and lantern.  I popped up the pieces using Foam Tape.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and embossed it in white. I layered it over a green piece of paper from the new Haunted Paper Pack. I added orange twine for a finishing touch.

Halloween Shaker Card!

Hello everyone!

Happy hump day!

I have a fun shaker card to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's new Halloween Postage Clear Stamps.  I stamped each image with Black Memento ink and colored them using Copic markers.  I fussy cut each out.  I inked up a piece of cardstock using Tim Holtz inks.   I used the new Postage Window Die.  I created the shaker card and used the Sparkletz Boo sequins and such to fill the windows.  

Instead of placing the images inside the shaker, I popped them up using Shaker Maker Foam tape on the outside of the shaker.  I tied orange and purple twine to finish the card off.

Halloween Expressions

Good morning and happy Saturday to you!

I have another card sharing Whimsy Stamp's newest release, Halloween Expressions Stencil.  I first inked up a square panel of card stock measuring 3.5 x 3.5 with Tim Holtz inks.  I splattered it with a bit of water to add a bit of texture.  Once it was dry, I stamped the Jack O'Lanterns in black Memento ink. I wanted to fill in some of the empty spaces so I used the new Halloween Postage set.  It has the cutest little Halloween images!

I took a white gel pen and colored inside the word, Boo.  I added orange rhinestones for the eyes.  The image was layered over a piece of purple paper from the 6x6 Cosmic Paper Pack.

Don't Look Under Your Bed!!

Hello friends! 

Today is a great day because, one, it is my 49th birthday and two, it is Whimsy Stamp's September release! I think I am more excited about Whimsy's release.  ;) 

I used the new Creepy Clown set.  I stamped and masked the image and stamped the Burst Background stamp directly over image.  I peeled the mask away and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added white gel pen highlights and glossy accents to his eyes and nose.  

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed in white. I added a fuzzy twine to finish it off.

Whimsy's September Release!

Hello friends!

So hard to believe that it is September 1st already!  I am excited to share that Whimsy Stamps has their brand new release of Halloween goodies today! 

I used the adorable, Build a Graveyard set using gray and black paper. I stamped the cracks in the tombstones and the epitaphs from the new Grave Epitaphs stamp set. I love making treat bags for my colleagues at school, so I wrapped a piece of the Sugar Skull paper around the glassine bag. 

I adhered everything to the bags and glued a few gems and lil' ghosties from the Sparkletz Boo collection.  Fill up those bags with candy and you have a "hauntingly" good treat! ;)

Instagram Hop!

Today Whimsy Stamps is hosting a fun Instagram hop! (There are prizes too!) Be sure to head on over to my Instagram page to check out all of the fabulous projects! So many fun ideas!

I used the new Spooktacular Stamp set. I colored each of the cutie pie ghosts (I love cute Halloween, not scary Halloween!) with Copic markers. Could the ghost taking a selfie be any cuter? ;)  I also used the Slimline Film Strip Die for the background.  The stars were the negative space using the Slimline Stars Background die. I added the teeny bats from the Sparkletz Boo collection.

I have two cards to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's new August release products! I adore this new set, Skull Cuties. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies.  For both cards I used the Sugar Skulls 6 x 6 paper pad.  For this first card I wanted my girl to stand out a bit, so I used the Connected Oval Frame Die and silver glittery paper. I added a black silk bow and found these fun tassels in my stash.  

For my second card I used quite a few of the pieces in the Skull Cuties set and used it with the Wonky Window die. I popped up the elements using Crafty Foam Tape.  I tied a white silk ribbon vertically to finish off the card.
