The Lord and Savior

Good morning!
I have another card to share with you, told you these sets were my favorite! ;)
I used the Savior Dies and Savior Stamp set to create my Slim line card.
I water colored the back panel in colors of a sunrise.  I framed it out using the Slimline Scenic Countryside Die.   The sentiment was directly stamped on the cross.
I added some Copic coloring to add depth to the die cuts.  Everything was assembled using Crafty Foam Tape

Alpha and the Omega

Hello friends!
It's been a few days since I've posted.  Life seems to get in the way at times.
I got to see my daughter, Cortney, and this Mama was a happy, happy girl!
My son is two weeks from graduating Boot Camp. His letters indicate that he is doing well. Thriving actually.  He said his confidence has gone up exponentially.
I have Him to thank for answering my prayers.
The Alpha and the Omega.
This new set from Whimsy Stamps really speaks to my heart and is perfect for Easter.
The pieces were die cut and I did add a bit of Copic coloring to add depth.
The background was created using the Sun Rays stencil.
I added three circles using the Pierced and Stitched Circle Dies.  Twine was tied and rhinestones were added for a finishing touch.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit!

Whimsy Stamp's March Release

Hello friends!
Whimsy Stamps has done it again! They have released the prettiest dies and stamps this month.  I am so excited to have a religious die set and ended up making 3 cards so far with it!  I will post the other two later this week. I used the new Savior Die set and the Savior Clear Stamps.  I created the background using the Sun Rays Stencil with pinky tones.
I used the Pierced and Stitched Circle die to create the sun.  The frame was created using the Slimline Birthday Scallops Die and the Slimline Scenic Countryside Die.  I love mixing all of my dies to create unique frames for my cards! Silk ribbon was tied with a mix of posies, little eggs, and twine from my stash. I did add a few leaves using the Build-a-Pumpkin die set.

Be sure to head on over to Whimsy to check out the full release!
Have a great day!!

Your Crazy is Showing!

Good morning and happy Sunday to you! I have one more card to share with you from the Whimsy Stamps February release. I used two new sets here, Meme FYI and the WTF Background stamp.
The background was stamped on cream card stock in black.  I distressed the edges a bit with a very light brown ink so it wasn't so stark.  My snarky gal was colored in Copics and cut out with Pierced and Stitched Circle Dies.
I layered all of my pieces using Crafty Foam Tape.  I added a bit of pink twine and decided to embellish my image with teeny pearls and a flower for her hair.

I will be back tomorrow with Whimsy Stamp's new March release! So be sure to check back!
Have a wonderful day!

Whimsy's New Release part 2!

I had so much fun with Whimsy Stamp's Cubed Die Set that I had to make another card! This one kind of took on a life of it's own, as I built the cubes and then started stacking and layering them.  Then thought, why not make a shaker card?  Go big or go home right? ;)  I created the glittery frame using the Wonky Window Die 2 and cutting the inside part of it out. I added these fun Color Wheel Sprinkletz inside shaker.  I adhered a piece of acetate to the back and plopped that on my cubed background using Crafty Foam Tape.
The background piece was cut from the Wavy Pierced Rectangle Die.  I used several Distress Oxide inks to match the inside of the card.  The sentiment is part of the Simple Sentiments set.  (I told you this is my "go to" set! LOL!)

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on black paper and embossed in white.  I used the Quick Strips Die set to cut it out.  It was layered over front of frame. I tied hot pink tulle around the front of the card.
There is a lot going on with this card, it was definitely going down a rabbit hole for awhile, but I think at the end it does shout, Happy! (Or maybe I am just fooling myself!) ;)
On a happy note, I did get a 40 min. call from my son yesterday.  It was so great hearing his voice.  He is half way done with boot camp.  :)
Be sure to check out Whimsy Stamp's newest releases! I promise the next card will be something besides cubes!

Whimsy Stamp's Newest Release!

Good morning friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamps newest release! I absolutely love this new die called Cubed!  I used it with watercolor paper and went a little crazy with my Karin Brushmarkers.  I added lots of splatter to jazz it up a bit.  I adhered it to a soft gray card stock with Crafty Foam Tape.
I used a sentiment from the Simple Sentiment Strips stamp set.  I love this set and seem to be reaching for it a lot lately! I stamped it with Versamark on Navy blue paper and cut it into a strip.  I added a bit of white string as not to overwhelm the colorful background.  A few clear sequins and pearls were adhered as a finishing touch.
Be sure to pop on over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
I'll be back tomorrow with another card!
Have a great day!

Make a Wish

Good morning!
Can I just say that if I never see another snowflake that it would be too soon?
We seriously have 14 inches of snow here and there is nowhere to even put the piles anymore!
But I digress...
I have a card that brings fond memories of warmer temps and sunshine.
I used Whimsy Stamp's new Build-a-Fairy Garden Die.  I did a bit of inking and coloring of these sweet fairies with Copic markers. I used the Slimline Scenic Countryside Die and the Birthday Scallops Die to create the frames.
I used the Up in the Clouds Die set to add some clouds and the sun. The sentiments are part of the Simple Sentiments stamp set.  (A must have in my opinion!)
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
