Happy weekend friends!
I am ready for all things spring, including Easter. This adorable set is by Whimsy Stamps and is called, Hoppy Easter Bunny.  I stamped it in a Copic friendly ink and colored it with Copics.  I cut the image and the patterned paper behind it with the Mini Slim Notched Stitched die.  Speaking of patterned paper, this paper is from the Mix n Match 6 x 6 paper.
I added a few machine stitches, ribbon, and a teeny heart and sequins from the Confetti Mix-Hugs and Kisses.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Oh So Pretty! Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Doesn't this llama just make you smile?
It is part of Whimsy Stamp's new release today called, Oh, So Pretty! I colored it using my Zig Clean Color Brush markers and used the coordinating die to cut it out.  I wanted to create a shaker card for my image so I used the new  Grass Frames Die set.  I had previously colored a bunch of different water colored backgrounds to be used for future die cutting.  I decided against the green colors as I thought the pink matched her scarf!
I adhered acetate to the back of it and added foam tape to pop it up on the panel.  I filled it with the new Confetti Mix-Fabulous Florals. Such a yummy mix!!  I added the images on top of the acetate and added a cluster of water colored flowers and leaves.  I tied some silk ribbon and added the sentiment.
Just a fun interactive card that literally "jumps" for joy!
Be sure to check out Whimsy's new release!

Shenanigans!

Hello friends!
St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and I have a few projects to celebrate! I used Whimsy Stamp's Hexagon Treat Box and their St. Paddy Shenanigans stamp set.  I colored this double fisted guy with Copics and fussy cut him out.  I stamped the sentiment on a lime green paper and cut it into a banner shape.  The Rainbow Magic Paper was cut using the Nested Hexagon die slightly smaller than the box.
Glossy accents was added to the beer mugs and once it was dry I added some white gel pen highlights.  I tied a bit of twine, added a teeny flower from the Sprinkletz-Garden Party collection and tucked the sentiment banner underneath it.
My image was popped up onto the box using Crafty Foam Tape.

This was so much fun to make!
I will have a couple more St. Paddy's Day projects to share later this week!
Have a great day!

Watercolor on Black Paper

I've been in the mood lately to experiment and try new things.  Like water colored hearts stamped on black paper for example.  ;)  I used the Slimline Heart Border stamp set.  It was stamped with Versamark on black water color paper and embossed in gold.  I used Karin Metallic Brushmarkers and Kuretake water colors. I did the wet on wet technique to really blend and move the colors.  Once it was to my liking, I splattered it with a bit of gold, and white acrylic paint.
The colors are so rich and pretty in person! I added the thinking of you sentiment from the Slimline Heartbeats Die set.  I added a few gold sequins from the St. Patrick's Day Confetti Mix

Ouchie!

Hello friends!
I've been home sick all week with some crazy virus.  It's been a long week of coughing, fever, headache, sore throat, and body aches.  I tested negative for CoVid twice and negative for strep.  I am on several things for the symptoms, but only time will allow me to heal from this thing I've got.
All my plans this week were canceled, but it has made me slow down and rest, which I needed.
So even though my illness doesn't require a band aid to fix, I thought today's card was somewhat appropriate! ;)
I used Whimsy Stamp's Big Boo Boo Slim Line Die set.  I cut my band aids in cool colors and adhered them on an angle.  I love how realistic they are!
I also used the Big BooBoo Clear Stamp set.  I cut it out by hand and adhered directly over the Band Aids.  A red ribbon was added along with some clear sequins to finish it off.
Just a quick post today friends!

Whimsy's New Release!!!

Good morning!
Whimsy Stamps has done it again! SO many new products, I don't know where to begin! First, this cute Hoppy Easter Bunny Stamp set! Can you say cuteness overboard?! I stamped it with Copic safe ink and colored it with Copics.  Whimsy is now part of the Hot Foil/Plate scene, and this girl couldn't be more thrilled!  I am a complete newbie so I kept it kind of simple! I used the new Mini Slim Notched Hot Foil plates and hot pink foil.  I love the look of the foiling, it makes the card look complete!
Then to make things a bit more interesting, I used the new, It's Raining stencil.  I used it with a light blue ink, then shifted it and used it with a silvery glitter paste.  While it was wet I was able to wipe off any areas I didn't want it. I set it aside to dry and then decided while it was drying, to stamp another flower, cut it out and add it to the tea cup.  For a finishing touch I added a few X's and O's from the Hugs and Kisses Confetti Mix.  I added confetti to the center of my flower from the Spring Buzz Confetti Mix.

A Wish of Good Luck

Hi friends!
Whimsy Stamps is having an Instagram Hop today, if you would like to see what the other designers have created, head over to my Instagram.  :)
My card today uses the Good Luck Flowers stamp set.  It was stamped with a no line ink and colored with Zig Clean Color markers.  I gave it a splatter of gold, white, and black.  I distressed the edges with scissors and added some machine stitching.  The paper behind it is vintage music paper from my stash and green striped paper from the Mix n Match paper pack
I tied ribbon, a couple of posies, and added a few clear drops from the Sparkletz-Salt Water collection.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
